:iagree: with :whs: Work the polish until it turns almost clear looking. With 106FF the main goal is to finish out the paint, raise the gloss, and get it ready for wax. I would use nothing more aggressive than a white pad.(I usually use a blue pad) Leave most of your defect removal to heavier...

This is a prep I did on my Bmw 3-Series for an Ultima and Opti-Seal comparison. It had some swirls and heavy marring. I used Rotary and Menzerna.

:rolleyes: What do you mean it does not live up to Zaino? In which way are you not impressed? You have not had the product long enough to even fully test the durability against Zaino (I haven't been able to fully test the durability either), so I guess you are going by the looks and slickness...

I believe that P21s and S100 are the same wheel cleaner as I have used both and they both look and work the same; Great! :)

I have had great results with Optimum Compound! But as others are mentioning you can't go wrong with Menzerna.
