Used the 3M kit myself last weekend. Loved it. Don't know why I wasted time and money on other methods. I put wax on mine, but I think their's more to it than that.

No pics, I watched the videos on their site and YouTube and did it that way. When I got done I put the brushes in a cup filled with thinner. Their still good.

As mentioned before,Solutions Finish. I've used it on both plastic and metal. Most recent on the faded pillars of an 03 Caddy CTS.and that was 2 months ago this past Wednesday.Pricey,but it don't take much.

Tried everything else including the Diamondite kit. Saw the 3M kit at Wal Mart this afternoon and figured why not.

I just Googled, vinegar in washing machine, you'll find all kinds of ways to use it there. I've used a 1/4 cup to get sweat stains out of t-shirts.

On the railroad we had gloves that were available to use with the various power tools we had. They had padding in them and were for the vibration and shaking that a persons hands would get. If I had used safety gear when it was first made available I'd have better hearing,eyesight and knees.

My F150 with an ARE Top is also parked most of the time and in addition to a cheap sunshade for the inside windshield I tape cut sections of white poster board to the inside glass (SuperCrew), it's not a big deal for me to take it down as I usually know ahead of time if I'm going someplace...

Had trouble with the L4 & L5 myself till I had surgery in the early 90s. Had to, woke up one morning and my entire left leg was numb and stayed that way. I don't envy you. Sounds like you took a hard hit.

I stumbled across a site,a while back,called dealerrater.com, if I remember right, where a person could leave remarks about how they got treated,both by sales and service. I was really surprised. A very small Ford dealer right up the road from me was talked about so bad in the way their sales...

All in together for me. Warm wash,cold rinse with Tide. Works for me. Other folks might do it different.

Just looked on Amazon and they've got a line of Liquid Glass items. Polish,detail spray,leather cleaner/polish etc.

Got home with mine about 2 hours ago. Thanks for the 'heads-up'
