We have had a terrible four year drought here in Georgia and distilled water is what I used on all cars. I was legal and green. Drought broke this past spring and I can not see any reason for breaking out a hose for a car again.

I use blue painters tape and newspaper going around the roof to avoid any over spray and clean up is quick. Remove the tape and paper - you are done.

I put dog potty pads under the tires to contain any run off from the sprayer to keep my floor clean. al

I would try some clay bar on the raised areas to remove embedded sap stuff. al

I have used ONR on a 5th wheel hauler that had 1/2" red clay on it. Pre-spray to loosen up the clay and multiple passes with the grout sponge. Grid guard worked just great for the clay clods it pulled off the hauler. Sending PM with picture link. al If anyone else wants the picture links...
