I use ONR for convertible top cleaning. Soft brush and grout sponge.

I do the same procedure and before applying the protectant I vacuum the top to remove any lint type debris. Works for me. al

Raggtopp makes two kits. Is the vert you worked on a fabric or vinyl top? I have used both the fabric kit and vinyl kit without any issues. You should see beading the next time it rains.

We have maple cabinets in our house and wipe down using ONR followed by Optimum car wax. Spray wax is so easy to use and wow do they shine. No machines used just a little arm action.
