Coming from a body shop, i can tell you paint gets sanded/polished the day it comes out of the booth, or maybe the day after if thats when it fits in the line. Thats for water based paints as well.

Lake Country CCS pads here!! Using Orange, White, and Gray and they work perfect for me! I use them to maintain a black on black WS.6, as well as my Sunset Orange WS.6, and they work great on both!

Yup, like was said, it can be done. Plenty of people do it. Some people like having the best of both worlds, like using a sealant for protection, and topping it with a Carnauba wax for depth.

Wow, that was TERRIBLE!! That poor car! My wife's DAILY DRIVEN WS.6 that wasnt waxed in 2 years (completely my fault) wasnt even THAT bad!! The results are incredible!
