    Cleaning tire shine applicators

just FYI, I forgot to rinse out my applicators once after soaking with Dawn PD. After sitting for a few days, the stuff ate through 1/2 of my foam applicator. Lesson learned, make sure to wash it out the same day.

    MF's from Costco

agreed. For enthusiasts' use, if you get a bunch of quality MF's from Pakshak, they'll last you a really long time. The costco ones, I've found that the nap "shrinks" after a few washes. They're now designated to wheel, interior and kitchen use at my home.

Need input - detailing black paint

you can use z2 without zaio on a clean surface w/o polishes or oils. Zaino doesn't really like or bond well to surfaces not clean.

    water on car

Yes it's how spots occur, but if you have decent LSP on the paint, it will easily come off the next time you wash it.

    rotary gum-up

Try mixing in a little ultrafina or Menz FF with the 105. It gives you more working time and finishes down nicer with less gumming up of the pad. I mix it in a separate small squeeze bottle. Good luck

Wheel Cleaner that won't strip wax?

If the process of applying ZAIO seems like too much work for the amount of time it stays on, try using a WOWA product like Opti-seal on the wheels. Much easier and faster to apply and leaves a good amount of protection to help clean next time.

Wheel Cleaner that won't strip wax?

ZAIO + mother's powerball mini is AWSOME! Try using EO A2Z tire cleaner, spray on, let dwell and lightly agitate. It works really well.

Wheel Cleaner that won't strip wax?

:iagree: IMHO, if a mild cleaner like ONR, or regular wash soap can't take off the brake dust fairly easy, you might want to clean your wheels more often. ONR does a good job and is really gentle on the sealants.
