Great buy ! Make sure you pick up some "Pump Saver" (can usually be found by the pressure washers at Lowes or HD)to use if the unit will sit unused for any length of time. It keeps the pump from siezing up. Just follow the directions and give it a shot before storing.

I use the CCD (lightly) when I get home from work to remove light dust. Since my truck is parked outside doing this keeps condensation from turning the dust into a film that has to be washed off. I also use the Menzerna HGAS after washing. This seems to play well with the NXT applied last Nov...

Toto, nice work ! How do you handle the flare at the bottom of the front fender and door and the area right under the mirror ? I assume you are using a rotary ? Also, if you are wetsanding do lose the top UV protection or is that only on factory cc ?

Thanks for all the tips. Seems like the MF WW is 90% and whatever you like the other 10% . I have used Meg's QD and clay bar with a terry towel and got very good results.

Thanks for the tip about washing the glass towels seperately. I have some of the Stoners foam glass cleaner, JUst hard to believe how well plain water worked !

OK here is todays question : When polishing with a PC7424 and an orange pad with Menz IP should you tape off the ridges on the hood, door panels, etc to keep from wearing down these vulnerable areas ? OK with white pad/Menz FP II ? Cheers, Bruce Go PATS !
