Just made it back into Hartford Ct last night and I must say and is pretty bad. The expressway was okay but the side roads are still in bad shape. No sign of BobbyG.

    Dropped rag on hot exhaust

In my day we called it shoe bacon. I guess we would call this rag kill. Just stay after it and it’ll come off. Craig

All my hardwork is gone..... I could cry right now..

Character and Integrity in people is getting harder and harder to find. Just remember, “An honest mans pillow is his peace of mind.” If the person that did that to your car honestly knew they did it, then chances are they don’t sleep very well at night. Craig

    Worth Upgrading to PC 7424XP?

I have both, the Griots Garage 6” and the Flex 3401 as well as the Griots Garage 3”. I started with the Griots Garage 6” but was looking for a machine that would not stop rotating when traveling over convex or concave surfaces. I noticed especially on the concave area’s, I was getting very...

    Help!

Goof Off will do a nice job of removing the black marks but be sure to wash it with warm soapy water as soon as you finish. It may soften the clear coat so do a small test spot. I have done this in the past when a customer backed into her garage door jam. White plastic on red paint.

BobbyG, I just got into the Draft from Hartford Ct. I saw the forecast last night in my room and started packing. I think there was a mass exodus because traffic was terrible. I’m headed back up Sunday afternoon to survey the damage. I’ll be sure to bring my own milk and bread.

    I suck at washing

I always wash my car in the garage. I put down a bead of clear silicone caulk as needed to channel the water out the door. This usually last one year before I have to redo the caulk line. I like that idea. I'll try it when the floor warms up a bit. Craig

    I suck at washing

I know it goes against most thought process but if you have a garage that would be your best bet. Most if not all have a grade that falls straight out the door. I have a 2 car garage that stays completely empty of unnecessary clutter and ready for the next detail. I do however need to put 2...
