    When dogs get old...

Dave, I am sorry to hear of Jack’s decline. I know today will be very difficult and for you to walk that final mile with such a loyal friend is a true testimony to your character. It’s always tough knowing what the right thing to do is but even tougher doing it. All my support, Craig :grouphug:

Window stain from broken building pipe

On the glass, try Goof Off. I have used it on paint but try very hard not to. If you do, be sure to have a bucket of soap and water to remove the residue quickly. Don't rub hard or for very long because this stuff will soften your clear coat.

Newbie who just made a lot of work for himself :(

Don't forget to do an IPA wipe down before sealing or waxing. This will eliminate the chemical hazing you are speaking of.

    2004 Mach 1 Mustang

I just completed my daily driver (2012 Chevy Impala, Black Granit Metallic) with a quick polish using Meg Ultimate Polish then seal it with WG sealant 3.0 followed by 3 coats of GG Best of Show wax. (Full correction was done in July and well maintained) I had to use the GG spray wax to...

What polish to use before M205?

I would try the WG twins first then if you need the M105 you can pick it up at your local auto store. Local price on the M105 is very high but when in a pinch, you do what you have to. The new M101 is designed for foam pads, so if you have the time and need something more aggressive, you can...

What polish to use before M205?

I just did a 2011 Z4 in this color. See my avatar. I found the CC to be rather hard. The car only had 4K miles but was a train wreck. I had to use LC Yellow pad and M105 to get the RID’s out then had to step down to the WG twins to remove the swirls of the M105. It would have been much easier if...

What polish to use before M205?

If you only have light swirls and scratches try looking at the Wolf Gang twins. Total Swirl Remover 3.0 and Finishing Glaze 3.0. If you top it all off with the WG sealant you will be in great shape.

    Light swirls after M105?

Chances are, you will have the level of swirl and paint hardness throughout the rest of the vehicle. Maybe move to the roof and do some test spots. If the orange is not effective with the M105, move to the yellow with the M105 and the M205 with the orange. The number of section passes is a...
