Questions about detailing with an air compressor

Please bear in mind that this is a really good (little) machine but depending on how much air you want to put out, it doesn't produce more air than some of the larger ones. I have never put it up against my shop vac but I'm going to try that just so I will know which one is more powerful.

I checked on-line first and it said $44.00 and that's what I paid for it right at Home Depot. Well minus my 10% military discount.

As I said in my first post to you - I am heading to Home Depot. Found it. Cost was $44.00. Never giving it any thought, I opened it and was walking around on top of it when BLAM one end of this sucker just caved in. I never read instructions - so it came to no big surprise when I DID read...

Questions about detailing with an air compressor

Air compressors can be a great tool in drying any vehicle. However, if your air compressor doesn't have a "drain plug" on the underside of it, "don't" us it. What happens if you keep any air in the compressor it will turn to condensation which will then lead to rust. You surely don't want...

Montana Original 10 inch Boar’s Hair Wash Brush

My thoughts - "NO." I have a rim cleaning brush that is made of the same material. While cleaning the front rim I was in a hurry. The brush hit the outter portion of the wheel well where there is paint. It left quite a few superfical scratches.

TKS. Glad to be here. I have a lot of habits but the worst one is always looking for some new ride to purchase. Sorry I got the Ram though. The Hemi engine is a ticket getter for sure but it's the problems with it where I seem to be spending more time at the dealer than I am home.

TKS! Seems to be a really neat forum. Looking forward to learning a lot. 9 Dec, 2011 was when I bought my first Ram truck. So many problems with it I made the dealer buy it back. It was BLACK so I went with this Cherry red one. Now this one is giving me the very same problems. I...

    hello from oregon

When I was a Navy Recruiter in Corvallis, a young Sailor who worked for me use to live in Sweethome. Can't remember his name though. I loved that town back then and probably wouldn't recognize it if I went through it. It had a couple of really neat bars that we use to hang out in.

I don't have a clue where this is going to end up but just wanted to stop by and say hi as a new member. I live in Southern Oregon. I'm old, gray and ugly. I enjoy racing my Harley against other bikes and anything to do with speed especially going through the corners. I just bought a new Ram...
