    Company name help

Wow, that is genius. That's catchy and memorable on many levels and I think that the fact that it's sort of your last name means something. People will be asking. As for me, I went with Hudson Detailing and Hand Wash because it's my last name and I wanted to let people know I detailed and I...

    Cleaning Interior Seats

I have a horse hair brush that I use on upholstery. I've never seen seats that it was too stiff for.

Ditto on that! This is one of the friendliest, most informational forums I've ever been a part of. I hope we get pics of the Volvo!

    Bissell Spotcleaners help and tips

This is the video that sold me on the machine. I may just try some carpet cleaners that foam a bit more to remove more dirt before extracting.

    Bissell Spotcleaners help and tips

No I have been making it wet with folex and agitating, then spraying with hot water (sometimes with more agitation) then extracting

    Bissell Spotcleaners help and tips

I used folex and agitated, then used the extractor, but it took a ton of passes to get a passable amount of dirt out (which took too much time) and after only extracting water for quite some time I switched to my wet/dry vac and tried to suck more water out with that. Then I used the blower side...

    Bissell Spotcleaners help and tips

I purchased one of Bissell's Proheat spot cleaners and enjoy being able to see how much dirt is being extracted, but I'm having a few hang ups with the machine. Wondering if AGO has any suggestions from experience of these machines or carpet extracting in general... My biggest problem was...

    Help with cleaning interior

Not sure if their website is broken or if there aren't any distributors in Texas. Would you recommend Pro's Choice over other professional cleaning product. Jon Don seems to have similar prices and may be more accessible to me, but I'll order Pro's if it's better stuff.

    Help with cleaning interior

I am working on cleaning the interior of a truck and I'm having problems getting two stains out completely. One stain is some kind of soda that has been there for about 15 years and the other was some kind of coffee. I'm using folex and a steam cleaner. Vacuum, agitate, vacuum, folex, agitate...

Which services to provide for mobile detailing?

Thank you guys for all of the information! It has been very helpful. I feel like I was quickly making my services confusing and hard to choose from.

Which services to provide for mobile detailing?

My mistake. I meant weeks... I think I misunderstood your question as well. I am trying to feel out the world of charging for a wax service. I was planning on using Meg's Xpress Spray Wax as my only wax service, but the more I look around, the more I see upselling for a traditional wax and I'm...

Which services to provide for mobile detailing?

A spray wax gives you weeks of protection where most waxes last 6+ months I believe. Someone with a good current layer of wax would benefit from having a spray wax on top of the current wax to give an added layer of protection as well as a new shine, but some cars that haven't had a wax in...

Which services to provide for mobile detailing?

Thank you Tanner! You have been extremely helpful. Do you do hand waxes or use a polisher or some kind of power tools for your waxes? I'm willing to put in the elbow grease for a wax, but if I'm doing waxes for most of my customers I think it would be worth the $100+ for a DA polisher...
