Is it okay to clay, clean with ultimate compound and then go straight to liquid wax? or should i use ultimate polish before waxing?

So i see alot of videos of people putting presure right on the head of the polisher. Is it any different to put presure via the handle that comes with polisher?? Feed back please

when ur detailing your car does weather play a big part? i live in southern california and its gloomy and no sun is out today.. will this make a difference on the outcome?

Have not bought a DA yet but i have tried removing swirls by hand with megs micro pads. I have megs ultimate compound, ultimate polish, ultimate liquid wax. And working with 212 Black altima coupe.

What polishing pads are best for compounding, polish, wax.Feed back please

How big of a part does claying play in the whole 5-step detailing. I Used ultimate compound on a small test spot and it does look brighter then other spots but still has swirls. Did without claying but did wash the area. Applyed by hand. Would it be safe to say that the paint still had...

So i just bought a 6"in DA polisher. Now the question is what color pads do i use for ultimate compound, ultimate polish, and ultimate liquid wax. Since polish and wax dont need to much presure would it be fine to do these by hand?

So i have tried a spot test of ultimate compound by hand on a black 2012 altima coupe. Didnt really see a difference in the paint. Used it as it was directed on a video i saw but only did one application of it. Is it fair to say that using a DA polisher would make my job easyr even thou am just...

I have the meguiars ulitmate compound, ultimate poilsh and ultimate liquid wax. I will be washing with meguiars ultimate wash and wax. Wanted to stick to the whole ultimate system.
