Ok...I have tried just about everything to clean cast aluminum white powder spots under the hood on my 2005 M3. Brushed and scrubbed with WD-40 with no avail...they just keep coming back!! UGH! Ok Pros...how do you clean and stop this corrosion? I am at wits end with this!! Thanks! DC

Bought a new Grand Cherokee...looks flawless but has a few minor blemishes. Looking for opinions on what to use to seal the paint. Not sure what to use brand new paint/clear coat...thought about the Opticoat 2.0 but I have absolutely no experience with this product. Please feel free to chime...

Thank folks for the tips...I have a test hood from a wrecked car....going to try to duplicate the scratches then try the wet sand method....let you know how it comes out or if it doesn't!!

Flash Gordon, I agree not knowing the paint history would be scary...I was a little apprehensive but testing with the wife's Jeep (not my M3) I thought I couldn't make it look worse than it already was...just like I am learning with the other detailing products...patience!!
