I had to laugh after reading this. With bug season in full swing I have been guilty of going out in the rain with some soap on a MF cloth and washing just the windshield and front grill area of my truck. The rain gets the bug pre-soak going and then rinses the soap off.

I also am a big fan of DP cleaner and protectant.

I use a touch fre car wash during the winter months to get the heavy stuff then go home and finish the job in my garage with a portable heater turned on. I have to agree with killrwheels on the MF towel observation. There always seems to be a thin dirty film left on my truck after using a car...

Mine went out last weekend as well. Our unit was at least 30 years old so it was bound to happen sooner than later. Good thing my brother does heating and AC. I called him up and he grabbed a unit from the shop and the next moring all was good.

I use 2 coats of sealant and then during my weekly/bi-weekly washes on my truck I then follow that with QD spray and then follow that with Pinnacle spray wax to help maintain protection.

That is a nice cart. I would love to see if they have a heavy duty molded plastic version as well.

I use FK425 followed by Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax after washing my truck. I have been very happy with the results.
