For all that work, would it be cheaper to buy new exhaust tips?

    Boat I buffed out today

Aren't boats such rewarding to do? Things like holograms and swirls people become accostom too. But receiving an oxidized boat and turning it into gold bring joy to the owners. Anyways! Great work! Love working on Bayliners as opposed to Chaparrals, those raised letters >:(

    Jeep Hard Top

I always thought those were plastic.... Anyways if it is metal, the metal is not bare, obviously there is paint on top of the metal. Any product you are applying you are applying to the paint. So I would look for something that enhances the paint. You are correct with your assumption that SF...

    Microfiber pads

I don't have experience with particular MF discs. However I am in love with Megs MF cutting discs. They are incredible at cutting. Never used with polishing, I like foam for polish. But MF pads cut very well. Nice balance between foam and wool

I personally would look into getting the Griots. It offers a little more power which can be very useful

    New paint care

Best advice is to touch the paint as little as possible. If you want to apply a longer lasting sealant, polish/have your car polished where to needs to be polished aka in spots. After that coat/seal/wax with a product you feel comfortable with.

    Yellow stuff on paintwork

I would go with a body shop solvent instead of a laqueur thinner or acetone.

What generator are you using for your mytee lite 2?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IYMRT78/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1430951771&sr=1-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=516vDt7zzuL&ref=plSrch. Bit pricey I know but it doubles as a generator for mi casa as well so it made sense. Honestly I would not buy one just because, not worth it. I'd save up a...

Naming the products you use on your site?

Personally I do not list any specific products on my website, unless it is CQuartz or something like that. There is no point IMO. Just like my uncle, also my mechanic, doesn't tell me what after market wheel bearing he just put on my car. 1) makes no difference to me 2) how am I supposed to...

Car wash fundraiser yay or nay?

Congrats on the upcoming adoption! Car wash fundraisers remind me from the scene in dodgeball. Anyways you are probably not going to get much love around here on fundraisers, because they probably aren't the safest. I would go a Google search. Seems the 2 most common things for garage...

    First Time Plan of Attack

    1) Stay away from M105. It is my personal favorite compound but since you are just starting I wouldn't touch it. The product is more stubborn than my girl friend and if it isn't removed when warm cements onto the car. Look into a Wolfgang or use UC compound instead. 2) I'm going to disagree...

Ultimate Quik Detailer ... for windows? YES!

I talked to a tinting company in my area, when I was having my windows done. And they strongly advised against using glass cleaners on tint. Something to do with the chemicals in the cleaner turning the tint purple. Idk if this is true but it wouldn't hurt to call your company and ask them...

    Which pads for my needs?

As long as your towels are above 300 GSM they are good. Personally I will only use towls between 300-400. Anything higher the fibers are usually longer and they just flop around on the surface. I know a lot of people on here love a high GSM towel but I personally will not use them. Spending...

What kind of pads should I buy?

I've always cut with Megs MF cutting Discs and finished with white pads. Ever since I went to MF discs I cannot use anything else. I don't know why but they just work so well and quick. If you haven't given them a look try them out. They are an awesome pad everyone should at least try

The perfect tent or shelter to work in?

Paint is not too challenging. Coming from a detail back ground it is easier to learn. The hardest part is blending and matching. But that comes with time. I have only ever painted a few panels on my personal cars. But I was satisfied with the results and would like also like to do some more...
