High quality Touch up paint recommendations

I am bored, so I will just assume it is for a BMW haha. IMO BMW makes one of the best OEM touch up paint kits available. Simply because the color is separated from the clear. There are 2 other companies I use: Dr. ColorChip and Applied Colors. I own a black 335 and I have used the BMW kit...

How to remove these scratches from ML63?

I cannot tell if they below the surface or not. If they are not below the surface, something like a simple paint transfer, and the metal is smooth try some wax. If they have dug into the metal I wouldn't touch them. I assume the black coating on the metal is very thin and if you were to try...

    Buisness name thoughts

D.S. Detailing of West Florida. Cape Detailing. West Florida Automotive Detailing. LCM Detailing (for the countries you wish to operate). Gulf Coast Detailing. All I could think off the top of my head. I have always assumed that adding a name in your business is helpful for being found...

    Buisness name thoughts

I personally shy away from any flashy words. They are overly used in the detailing world and I feel by trying to stand out you just blend right in. May I ask your name and location?

    2011 Audi A4

Great work, black cars are always the most satisfying! In pic #8 (assuming it is not dust) that is an incredible amount of defects in the clear bra. Has the owner considered removing the bra/not tailgating as much? :banter:

    Cleaning rust

It is only surface rust. Just drive "around the block" and hit the breaks a few times and that should clean off the rotors. But they won't stay clean, as soon as water touches the rotor they will show signs of rust. Try looking around an Accord forum, I am sure someone has upgraded to...

    What are these spots?

Pollen? Little debris stuck to the glass? Try using a razor blade up and down with some window cleaner as lubrication and see if it helps.

Customer wants me to do his boat. Help!!

Is the boat in water? On blocks? Trailered? How are you going to adjust the boat to buff around the trailer/blocks? Without the interior you would be robbing the guy charging $25 per foot. The Seadoo is a small boat. The only reason some boats can command $25+ per foot, like Smokinss did...

    [HELP] Stripping Paint off Wheels

Or go to harbor freight and buy a walnut blaster and somewhere to buy crushed walnut shells. I have never used them on rims, but one of my guy's uses it for boats on bottom paint. Also people have used them to remove carbon build up inside engines. Or pressure washer.

    Paint transfer

Rubbing Alcohol will remove it, as will Magic Erasers. However magic erasers are abrasive and you will need to polish after.

    [HELP] Stripping Paint off Wheels

You could always jack your car up and remove one wheel. There is bound to be some overspray onto the interior-back of the rim and try a small test spot there with your stripper? Typically wheel are uniformly all the same, so if they are powder coated on the front, the back will have some...

335xi Deep Scratch Removal - Longish Post

At the time I was measuring the clear. I do not remember the exact depth after the second wet sand, but I was flirting with a repaint. I didn't take any pictures of the depth gauge because at the time I did not intend to post my work to a detailing audience. The pictures were for the...
