Hey guys, I average like 2 hours per pass on one polish, sometimes just using it on speed 6 with 106ff. Is that too long? I take my time I realize, but how long should it take me ideally with the flex to work in the polish and create that smooth shiny exterior?

Great stuff. With white it's challenging to see a difference unless you really spend time (which is what you've clearly demonstrated). Offer the customer a free re-wax mid way through.

Wow! The large panels I would imagine are not a problem... it's going to be the parts around the door handles, lower valences, all all of those small inbetween places that are going to need work.

Hey The guys at powerhouse recommend White Oil or machine oil, but what oil should be I looking for at my local automotive parts store? I couldn't find any of that, I do have lithium grease and multi-purpose grease spray, what should I use?

Single stage, really? A late model lexus that was single stage? Any problems in the polishing process? Or same ol same ol as if it were a clearcoated paint?

Ya, hey thanks for the advice. My former go to combo was ssr2.5 with UDM and orange. It's a 2002 black audi a4 so I figure I'll go with SIP orange and speed 6, then 5 for glazing. I just wanted to see if I could save time by polishing as one step and not two.

Will there be some sort of pad/adaptor combo to entice me from switching from velcro pads?

zoran, is that second washer making the flex work better or worse? Also, what kind of oil should I soak the felt ring in?
