Consider this maybe.... Take some Rubbing ALcohol and after you polish the panel, wipe it down with the alcohol and that will remove any 'fillers' that maybe 'filling in' the scratches. That will give you an idea of how much you are working the paint. I am unclear of what machine your using...

I would first start at the lowest speed (normally 300-500 depending on machine) and spread it evenly acorss your panel and then increase to desired speed. I tend to use a lot of product when I use a rotary, only because I like to and I have very little splatter.

I find that my AM Wah and WAX (pink) foams like CRAZY even at dilutions of 50/50 and slightly greater. Also what were your dilutions on those products and were the EXACTLY the same dilution.

One other thing my good man....you use the acid on BMW rims right? If so then GREAT! I was told NOT to use the acid on them but to use the NON-ACID cleaner....if you use the acid on the wheels that is what I am using from now on!
