Can someone PM me as to the ending of the new Harry Potter book, my wife REALLY wants to know and she can't find anyone who knows. Maybe some fellow AG folk can help.

My re-painted 97 Subaru has hazy doors - suggestions?

NO worries, I learned about Dual Actions long after I had gotten into Rotary machines, so once your too far into a good thing, ya just stay on track.

My re-painted 97 Subaru has hazy doors - suggestions?

Oh that is what a "UDM" is. DId not know, never had interest in Dual Action Machines. Speed 5 = ? in OPM? (just so that i have an idea on that machine) You are more than right about most GLazes being nothing more than fillers. Polishing is what is needed in his scenario

    Product Recomedations.. Swirly car

Consider this maybe.... Take some Rubbing ALcohol and after you polish the panel, wipe it down with the alcohol and that will remove any 'fillers' that maybe 'filling in' the scratches. That will give you an idea of how much you are working the paint. I am unclear of what machine your using...

My re-painted 97 Subaru has hazy doors - suggestions?

Kinda hard to tell without pictures my friend. I would say a good polish with a medium cut foam pad 1200-1500 RPM (depending on product) followed by some glaze with a soft polish pad 1200-1500 (depending on product) I would make sure that you work your product well in those areas and just...

    Geo Tracker buff out thread

I would first start at the lowest speed (normally 300-500 depending on machine) and spread it evenly acorss your panel and then increase to desired speed. I tend to use a lot of product when I use a rotary, only because I like to and I have very little splatter.

    Quick Question About Glaze

D&D, yes you are right...you don't ALWAYS have to...it truly is a matter of preference and opinion on the process you use when detailing, I was just taught to always glaze after polish.

    Long Awaited Soap Tests

Nope I did not read it....laziness prevails. Consider this thoug, what does the manufacturer recommend for dilutions? Although 1/16 maybe what you want to dilute it to, what if per say NXT said 3oz to 16oz? THen maybe their product would be effective because your using it within their operating...

    Long Awaited Soap Tests

I find that my AM Wah and WAX (pink) foams like CRAZY even at dilutions of 50/50 and slightly greater. Also what were your dilutions on those products and were the EXACTLY the same dilution.

    Quick Question About Glaze

A glaze should always be the second step, which should be after polishing and you DON'T want ANY cut in your pad when using it, unless your using some ALL IN ONE kinda stuff. Just from my experiences I have always used a Orange Medium Cut FOam pad for Polishing and a Green Soft Polish pad for...

Paint flaw question, what is it?

I have seen that before on a 1994 CHevrolet 2500 Dually Diesel. I would say just give it a paint job in the worse case scenario. Are you able to take your fingernail and run it across the 'cracking' and see if you can feel it, or are you 100% it is 'under' the clear coat?

    Car wash Scratches

One other thing my good man....you use the acid on BMW rims right? If so then GREAT! I was told NOT to use the acid on them but to use the NON-ACID cleaner....if you use the acid on the wheels that is what I am using from now on!

    Car wash Scratches

I have tried other products and I have fell in love with Auto Magic overall. I tried them all...at least as much as I could afford....the only other that I found decent was Malco. It is a while Trailblazer, so the scraches are not noticeable to the majority, but like I have said before...Auto...

    Car wash Scratches

I know this is long...but to summarize....I have always just used a aggressive polish from AM and follow up with BC-2 and it works fine! This is the first time I have every resorted to Compound....just need those experinces and opinions.

    Car wash Scratches

OKay I am stumped and just a little confused. For one thing I am sorry if I mention someone elses product line but it is what I use. 2003 Trailblazer. Here is the first step I used on the hood Wash Clay bar Auto Magic BC-1 with Orange Medium Cut Buff and Shine Foam at 1200-1500 RPM Auto...

    FWD vs. RWD

This is just plain and simple and the top pros have proven it time and time again. RWD and AWD are the better options. FWD is for Grandma's grocery getter and some punk kids riced out Honda. Every try to put a lot of power to a FWD CV? I had my Eclipse when I was a teenager and I went through...

Newbie: Which sealant/wax are you using on your black car?

If you prefer a nice wax....Wet Wax and Banana Magic from Auto Magic is Great stuff! For Sealants....XP Seal IT or Awesome GLoss are decent for a shine and protection. You could just use the Paint Sealant on bottom and then use Wet Wax on Top, the luster of a Wax and when it wears off you...
