    malco products

I have used Malco products and they are OK...I have always used Auto Magic and with a little help from David Fermani I have seen how these products work. Most of these name brand ones you have here only carry about 1-5 things for a certain application. Automagic has over 20! Take for instance...

    What is a glaze?

I have applied it through low speed orbital 1000 or less RPMS. Should I re-evaluate my decision to use a rotary for glazing?

    06/ 07 Ford King Ranch

I use either Auto Magic Lanolin Leather treatment or Malco leather treatment. I have a few people with those trucks in Wellington Florida and they have never had a problem with them.

    Porsche Carrera GT

My client added to his collection a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT ($500,000) and it is ALL carbon fiber! Paint is flawless thankfully. It is the very rare Gulf Blue Color. I ues a foam injector to clean all my cars for my clients as I don't use buckets. This car has open vents around the engine...

    Head light restoration

pawpaw - I see that often these days now! I would not trust very many of the people whom they employ to touch my car or anyone I know. $89.00 in this area is a little steep as you have guys doing it for $25.00!!!!! I charge $55.00

Is the rotary really that difficult?

No it is not that hard if you have some patience and don't expect immediate results. There are different forms, like: Holding the pad flat or angled - Both work, whatever floats your boat. FIgure 8 or straight line patterns - Same as above whatever feels comfortable SPeed - This is a varying...

    Clay...

Doesn't Clay Magic hold the patent to Clay? Blue Clay magic can be used for almost anything. Grey Clay magic is softer and more used for prep and not overspray removal Red and Purple clay is more aggressive and has a chance to swirl. Hope this helps.

    Head light restoration

I have used the Plasti-X from Meguiars. It is okay for moderate damage. but especialy on Eclipse's where it gets REALLY bad I find that wet sanding is what works. I like WolfGang Products...don't get me wrong. I am just un-happy with their business "Tactics"...it is just a personal thing. I wil...

    Head light restoration

I understand - Like everything else it is a per basis call and nothing is ever the "Right way" all the time. I am just making sure that the process I listed seems normal. I am trying it out on a 2001 Nissan Sentra and a 1997 Ecplise GSX

    I just don't get it

I feel ya. IN fact I guess the industry has to be "cautious" because there are a lot of "morons" in the industry driving around here calling themselves detailers and could not tell you the difference between Polish or wax. I understand now, but it bothers me. I charge $25 just to wash the...

    I just don't get it

Your opinion is well respected. I have always been good with hand tools and I have done such things as framing, woodwork and hand carving furniture. SO a rotary came with ease to me. I saw many recommendations to use a figure 8 pattern and others that said go in lines. I also saw articles...

    I just don't get it

Why is it that everyone points to using a Dual Action Machine First before using a rotary? What about a very long time ago when all there was to choose from was: Orbital and Rotary? The cost of these things over time seem just kinda like a waste. That is my opinion though. I come here from...

    New Technique Maybe?

I like to use the Auto Magic Bug wash, diluted 50/50 and I let it sit for a moment and they wash off effortlessly! Or full strength and you can see them dissolve as well.
