Hey - I have blackfire sealant that I applied and put it on a pad to apply it. Then I realized, I need to figure out how to clean it off. Kind of stupid of me, but if anyone can send me some advice, i'd appreciate it.

Without having read the whole thread - I have heard that sometimes you have to wait a certain amount of time before waxing a new car because the paint can be soft...? Can anyone address that?

I think some people top off a sealant with wax because it adds another step to the whole detailing process. I mean, most people who do this stuff take enjoyment out of it. Maybe it adds another layer of protection. Maybe it makes the paint look glossier, but you definitely feel like you did...

I currently use ONR for washing. I use a 2 bucket technique with microfiber mitt and microfiber drying cloths. I don't go to commercial washes! :xyxthumbs: I have a separate mitt and microfibers for the wheels. I always work top down. I have blackfire sealant that I put on at the 4 month...

Well I have to hand it to you - that is just impressive. I do think the answer would be the machine because of the time saving and quality of the results. That being said, I am not sure if the swirl marks on my 2010 daily driver really warrant a good polishing yet... I don't know - perhaps...

Well I currently do not have a machine, but I would consider it. I would say that I do not want to mess up my paint though. I guess I want to know about "what could go wrong" and what causes that to happen. In other words, I just wanna make sure if I go the machine route that I do it right.

How does it compare to something like ONR?
