I am not getting the desired results!!!!

Not really sure. LC CCS pads but not sure what profile they are considered. Bought here from Autogeek last Oct.. They look exactly like my 6.5 CCS pads if that helps. Pat.

I am not getting the desired results!!!!

My friend understood that my supplies weren't quite up to this job. I have the 3.5 inch plate and I have one 4 inch orange pad left but the other ones all gave up the ghost not long after I started using them. Too much pressure caused the middles to fail until I found there limit. LOL. I thought...

I am not getting the desired results!!!!

I am trying to correct the paint on a friends race car. Even using 6.5 inch yellow pad with Optimum compound and working it real long I can't even get this clear to haze. After that fiasco I just used OC on an orange pad and then OP on a white pad to make the finish smooth(Felt like sandpaper...

    Black Hyundai Tiburon

After shots look real good. Kind of difficult to see the severity of the damage before the cleanup though. Owning a black vehicle myself I know how the correct angle and lighting is required to really see the damage in a before shot. The big question is was the owner happy with the result...

    Need Some Help with PC

Speed 5 for paint correction. Same speed for final polish but move the PC faster and with less downward pressure. Practice on a 2ft by 2ft area first until you achieve the desired results. Check out some of the nice videos on this site that give you a good idea of what I mean. Pat.

How to clean CCS foam buffing pads?

Heres how I do it but I am a rookie not an expert. I usually just spray the pad with some diluted Castrol Super Clean and then allow them to sit for a few minutes. Then I take over to the sink and put a small amount of dish soap on the pad, soak with water and agitate mixture in my kneading with...

    Poor Boys Natural look dressing.

And just to add to killrwheels post PB Natural dressing does have a scent to it. Not really sure what its supposed to be. Cherry I think. Not overpowering though and only lasts a couple of days if the windows are closed. Pat.

    Don't be a feline!!!!!

Still a real newbie here. Only had my UDM for about a year and I am slowly learning as I go. Rav4 is black so any screw ups are readily visible in the correct light. Probably been polished at least once a month when the weather is decent and my wife isn't on my back to vacuum or help inside the...

    where to find car scents

I saw his and hers car perfumes at WallyMart today. Not sure how they differ but I have never seen these before. I still prefer my PB Natural Look smell. Too bad it doesn't last very long. Pat.

Welcome to Autogeek. You are a patient person. I usually can't wait to try out my new purchases on my car. I couldn't imagine not using my new toys for nearly a year. Pat.

Tips for small engine detailing problems!!! (Pics)

I was just doing a quick cleanup on our Toyota just so I keep on top of it. Car is driven year round and we have four real seasons up here so the engine is subjected to all sorts of salt and other hazards. Here is a pic of the engine after I was finished. I warmed engine and sprayed a...

Must you be fastidious with MF towels??

Cmon, everyone has heard the song Dancing Queen. Best band to come out of Sweden. Sadly I don't own any of their CD's so I will have to try another long forgotten band to try my luck with. Pat.

Must you be fastidious with MF towels??

I was trying out my replacement UDM today and it does seem to run alot better and way less vibration than my previous unit. Anyways, when I was done going over a section I proceeded to spritz with a 50/50 alcohol/water mix and then use a freshly laundered MF towel to buff off residue. Under the...

    Eshine .... Thank You

I would like to post a thank you to Chris for going out of his way to deliver my replacement UDM in person. I even received a phone call to make sure that I found it on my front porch where he had left it. That is going above and beyond in my books. We need more companies with that kind of...

    Anything new?

Yeah Zaino really seems to stimy pricing competition by limiting the sale of their products outside certain zones. That Dodo product looks interesting and highly rated in the UK but you would have to order quite alot to keep the shipping cost per unit in line. Autogeek seems to have quite a...

    Is this common on black??

Here is a sample of what I am talking about. Swirls and such I understand from washing and general use but there is a milkyness in the paint which drives me nuts!!!!!!! See from a distance not really noticeable at all. You know what they say looks good from 60ft. I want good from 6 inches...
