    Cavalier Interior

Hey Meghan I will be down again your way on Sept 27th to Oct 11th. I also have been swapping PM's with a gentleman on these forums who is local to me and runs a detail shop. I asked him if he would like any items brought back and he of course said yes. So you may be shipping an even larger order...

    Is this common on black??

Black Rav4 in fairly good shape. I have been over it a few times in the past year with the UDM and various pads and polishes. If you look at the top of the doors and fenders under the right angle of light it looks hazy. I don't have access to one of those halogen light stands YET!! The truck...

    Cavalier Interior

Heh thanks for pointing that one out. For the price that my sister-in-law paid I didn't hear any complaints. I will be more careful though next time. Pat.

    chrome polish

I found a homemade polish at a drag race in Norwalk OH a few years ago. Looks sort of like a milky solution that you just polish on until it turns black and then buff off the residue. The guy sold it at a little stand set up in the concession area of the dragstrip. Wonderful stuff and seems less...

    Collinite 845??

I use that exact combo on my wifes Rav4. Seems to work pretty well for me. I would like to try one of the newer waxes over the EX-P for my next round. Pat.

That looks beautiful. I am sure your work will be appreciated by the owner. Thats the quality of detail that I would assume most of us here on the forum are aspiring to. Pat.

    4" pad compatibility issues

I would still take it easy on those 4 inch pads. I have the UDM along with the CCS pads and a 3.5 inch BP. I collapsed the centre of my first pad by applying too much pressure for too long. I actually had the pad so warm that some of the velcro glue from the pad transferred onto the BP. Big...

    Detailed 03 Black impala

It looks pretty good for a daily driver to me!!!! I own a black 06 Rav4 so I know where you are coming from. I have owned a UDM since the car was just a year old and it still boggles my mind how many swirls and scratches you can see in a vehicle that is kept really clean and polished whenever...

    Classic Car Interior Help

That looks bad. At least its a plastic part and there are surely some good survivors out there that you can replace it with. My only concern with dyeing the plastic would be matching the rest of the surrounding trim peices. Or you could be stuck doing the whole interior to keep color...

    Best polish for hard CC??

A friend has a race car that was painted by a hot rod painter who uses House of Kolor products exclusively. Paint is five years old or so and was polished when first shot but only washed using a QD ever since. The car is either in a trailer or a garage 99% of the time anyways so washing is kind...

    1988 Ferrari 328 GTB

Hey Budman, I see you use the 4 inch pads. I like the mobility of that size and the vibrations from the UDM are certainly lessened with that pad as well. Do you have any issues with the centre of the pad collapasing a little after too much use though? What color pads are you using? White? Any...

    Wax question

The way I understand it the wax should be removed before you apply a sealant. You can put wax on top of cured sealant but not the other way around. Let the sealant cure for 24 hrs before applying the wax. Pat.

    Poorboys opinions???

I have the XMT line and it works well but I don't think I would want to attempt it in full sun. Pat.

    Pad caving in middle

I would assume black is dirt that wasn't removed before polishing and what causes pads to cave in is usually too much heat caused be too high a speed or too much pressure placed on the pad. I had a similar issue with some 4 inch pads that I used on my SUV. Now I know to go a little slower on the...

    Organized my supplies

I have a single car garage that is barely large enough for our small SUV to fit inside. Has anyone tried using that Rubbermaid Fast Track setup to organize their garage? I have plenty of space at the front of the garage and the ceiling is like over 16ft in the front 1/3 of the garage so I was...

    Poorboys opinions???

I only have a single car garage and fitting my vehicle inside is not really too feasible with all the other junk. You know lawn mower, kids ATV etc. Since shade is at a premium I would love to find a product that I could polish with in the sun. I see that Poorboys Swirl Removers advertise that...

    Black car still marred??

So would you try the XMT #3 on white and then XMT #1 on another white pad? I take it you are talking regualar isopryl alcohol and water in that 50/50 mix. Thanks for the advice, I want to improve. Pat.
