    Easy, Safe in-between Paint Protection?

I don't know if this is the same situation as your vehicle, but I have a 76 jeep that sits in the garage. I haven't given it a full wash in maybe 4 months, but I do keep up with the cleaning using a quick detailer. I like ONR diluted for a quick detailer because it's safe and won't swirl your...

    Never Satisfied???

Oh my god, thank you for this. I always get asked why I care so much about my car. I like to think of it as an expense I'm caring for, but also because I take pride in the things I do and have. But to answer the OP's question, yes. I have felt the same way a couple of times, but detailing and...

    Opti-Coat on License Plates?

Yup, or if you're feeling a little adventurous you could apply a clear coat to the plate. I have these custom retro looking license plates for my jeep. I got em and clear coated them with rattle cans. Let the clear harden and cure for about 2 months. And now I just wax the plate every now and then.

    Advice on m105

Yes, it seems like it isn't just a pick up and go product like i originally thought. But I am still new to polishing so that could also be it. Even then though I still appreciate everyone's input. This is why I love AG. Also, sorry about the name if I offended anyone. Didn't think that one...

    Advice on m105

Just ended up doing the other half of the truck and primed the whole face of the pad, and then added 3 drops each section after that. I also focused on keeping my work area small and keeping pressure consistent. There was dusting but hardly any. Seems like my technique was in the wrong. Thanks...

problem with 2007 caddy esclade headlight

Yup, fusion is absolutely right. I've had to replace my headlight casings on my malibu due to the inner condensation. It's a pain but it just happens i guess.

    swirlx follow up

Removing swirls by hand is a lot tougher than machine, but after all it is your choice. But I think in order to actually get anything done you might need a more aggressive polish like Ultimate compound. It did a good job on my malibu, but you have your work cut out for you.

    Advice on m105

Thanks for the reply fellas. I guess I'll just have to go with saturating the compound to work it more. I prime the whole face of the pad until it's nice and evenly coated, then put 3 small dots of product after that. I've learned that doing anything in terms of cleaning, polishing, or waxing is...

    Advice on m105

Hello AG! I just got finished polishing the driver side of my step dad's 2007 gmc. I used the GG 6" RO with LC orange on m105. The results I got were pretty great. A lot of swirls were removed, but some deeper ones stayed due to them being kind of deep. Anyway, when using m105 it tended to dust...

    Staying cool?

I just bought a couple of fans for my garage, and whenever I detail my car I usually like to wear moisture wicking shirts(golf polos/ athletic shirts). I live in the far western part of texas. So i feel your pain man.

Best Bang for Buck Car Wash w/ SON1C

I personally love zymol's natural concentrate auto wash. It is by far the slickest soap I've used yet. And at 10 bucks for 48oz you can't beat it. Not to mention the nice coconut and banana aroma it leaves.:xyxthumbs:

Anyone have any suggestions for an interior cleaner?

Well, it is my car I'm detailing and not a lot of them, so i see where you're coming from. I've also been the type to get what works no matter the price. Because in the end it's all about having the best look your car can get. I appreciate the information you gave me. I'll just get the gallon of...
