Black Friday through Monday is AGO's biggest sale of the year. I usually restock on everything between those few days.

Definitely looking forward to picking up some of this on the Black Friday sale.

So what's on everyone's detail wish list for AG this year? I'd love to try out the blackfire crystal coat paint coating. Been itching to pick up the kit and almost did this past sale, but holding out for some Black Friday goodies to go along with it. I'm out of black label hide soft, so hoping...

Everyone has their preferences. Personally I use blackfire crystal seal topped with either CG blacklight or BF black ice.

If it was anything like last years -50 windchill days I might have to pass lol

Ha well hunting season will be in very shortly so as OCD as I am about cleaning the truck, it'll probably be dirty the next day.

Well I ended up doing a mini detail on the truck and felt the need for a photo shoot. I guess the truck will need cleaned again in the near future.

Ok, so I got the truck back and can see some hologram buffing marks. I know I can't wax/seal but can polish correct. My issue here is I currently only have blackfire polish which I'm assuming has some sort of sealing property in it?

Thanks for the input mike! The issue is the dent is over a crease in the body panel. Already tried paintless repair route.

The shop I'm taking it to is the premier Autobody shop in the area, so I know their work is too notch. I'm not a painter nor do I have any paint experience, so I'm just taking their word on the blending. I just want it to turn out showroom quality. I don't even have 5000 miles on the truck.

Will do. From what I understand is they are doing to blending to match the repaired panel as this paint is difficult to match when doing repair work. All of that for a dent the size of a quarter.... Ugh

Gotta agree back to black was just a messy trim detailing disappointment that just ended up streaking down my paint. Learned the hard way a few years ago not to use heavy degreasers on aluminum wheels, but that was my own dumb fault.

So, my truck will be going in to have a dent repaired next week. They will be completely repainting the door and blending the back door and front fender. I'm assure they're going to tell me not to wax it for a month or so, but are there any Autobody paint safe waxes on the market? It's going to...

Haha isn't that the truth. Pretty much my days off consist of at least hitting the truck with a QD at the minimum. Doesn't hurt when the truck gets complimented a good bit too.

Ha don't get me wrong, my trucks see a fair amount of play/work as they do pampering, but I definitely like to keep my vehicles clean. I just have this bad addiction to black trucks
