I couldn't agee more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if its any testiment to the validity of what we're now doing overseas, I wonder how many people are aware that the military currently has the highest re-enlistment rate of soldiers than at any time in history! Our brave men and women believe...

Who Are You? Just for fun.

Alot of 5-year-olds on this forum! not to mention the members (my wife says I act like a 5-year-old sometimes). I too have a 5-year-old (boy-born January). My oldest is 11 (girl).

    World Trade Center Movie

I do have a question. Actually, I have an opinion but I'd like to hear what other people think. ARE WE AT WAR OR AREN"T WE? It's like what you, FN, said. 9/11 was like watching a movie on TV. This is my point; most of America goes about their business everyday, shopping, buying groceries...

    World Trade Center Movie

Am I spending too much time on this thread?!! Anyways, I too needed to do something! You are totally making sense. I had a private practice in Orlando, FL when 9/11 happened. It changed everything . . . and I was still a Canadian citizen at the time. I applied to the US Navy but couldn't be...

    World Trade Center Movie

BTW - thanks x10 FN (AKA Jennifer) for starting this string. I really wish more people were willing and able to talk about this stuff in a non-confrontational way. After all, we are all the same team here. We may not always agree with the coach's decisions/plays, but we only weaken ourselves by...

    World Trade Center Movie

I think the movie was too long in coming and I hope there will be more. America is a movie culture after all and, although I don't believe people have forgotten 9/11, I do believe that the the emotional impact has faded a little too much. Granted, I am a little biased (he says with sarcasm)...

POLL : Fav AG Line to Compare Other Products Against

I've tried all the products on this list and will say that for metallic silver, nothing beats Wolfgang (DGPS). I love the slick feel and awsome, deep shine. Really brings out the metal flake. The more coats the better (up to a point). I like it even better without Souveran as a topper. Dark...

    Car covers

Let me add that thicker covers do give some peace of mind regarding dings and bumps. Although I don't think a cover would really give any real protection, I believe it does, therefore it must.

    Car covers

I like the Weathershield cover because its so light and easy to use. Because of its light weight, it goes on and off way easier than ANYTHING else. Also, in my "size challenged" cars, Weathershield takes up very little space. The Fl sun also killed more covers of mine that I can count. One year...

    Need Your Opinion

Check out Colgan Bras (vinyl). I think you can get them from AG. I always went for factory bras thinking they would be a better fit than aftermarket but, OMG! there were so much better. I always use a bra for long highway trips. Nada in the city. Never had a problem with scratches or anything else.

    Car covers

Car covers, to me, are just as important as sealer/wax. I’ve used them in and out of a garage for 25 years. As a testament to their use, I have a 1983 Porsche 944 that spent most of its life outdoors. Paint is original and still looks practically brand new. I’ve tried just about every cover...

    So i'm done with detailing

AFTER SCHOOL - too, too, too true. But as for getting INTO a graduate program . . . that's what i'm talking about. I was on an admission committe for a PhD program at a University in CA and the #1, first thing we looked at (for better or worse) was GPA. If you didn't meet the cutoff, there was...

    So i'm done with detailing

Good luck in school. Keep in mind though, if you're planning to go on to graduate (or professional - law, medicine, engineering, etc) school, GPA is EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Pay close attention to selecting and getting to know your teachers. Tests and projects are so much easier if you really know what...

Just got out of the ER

Good info on this thread. Some rules of thumb from a medical provider at Fort Bragg (US Army) who sees heat casualties almost daily. 1. hydrate, hydrate, hydrate 2. too much water can cause an electrolyte imbalance and can, in and of itself, cause an injury (hyponatremia) – so, you...

    Sovergn - 04 Cosmo GTO

Beautiful car, Man! Check out Leather Master - Nubuck Leather Cleaner and Protectant. Works wonders on the suede seats in my Cobra. Totally takes away the worry obout how to clean and protect suede (though I must admit, I have custom seat covers that I use when not showing the car!).

    Lightning with Souveran

I heard Jack Roush waxes the bottom of his race cars. Smooths the airflow to increase downforce. Maybe this is not a joke. Clean cars do seem to drive better.

Show your girl you love her

In a discussion today about the relative value of Souveran, a comment was made about one car costing more than another. I felt strongly about this and gave it quite a bit of thought. Fact is, a car is not just a car. Like a dog is not just an animal. It’s something special. Something that is a...
