I own a billet silver metallic acura MDX. Its a daily driver that sits outside almost 24/7 so i use BFWD. I do weekly waterless washes with UWW+ and Meguiars D156 spray wax

The adhesive is most likely from previous wheel weights that were on the rim. All rims that do not have a lip for weights that are hammered on (sorry dont know the exact name of them),get those sticker type weights on the barrels

Thanks for the reply, I just looked those up. The black on the pad is the felt to attach to the backing plate and the orange is the face of the pad.

The price is pretty steep for the size you get, but a little does go a looooooong way. It also lasts a lot longer than other trim dressings. For something not as permanent, CarPro Perl is great and can be diluted for many applications.
