    Paint Cleaners

This is a bit weird, but I finally gave my opticoated car a "deeper" cleaning after 8 months using CarPro spotless. I was trying to remove heavy water spots, so I sprayed Spotless over the entire car. Not only did spotless remove the water spots, it appears to have brought the gloss back by...

How do some of the current sealants compare?

Reload is a bit difficult to use in hot weather without streaking. It's do-able, but it takes skill. Of all the ones you listed, Opti-Seal v2 is the easiest to apply. All of the others will take you 45 min, Opti-Seal will take you 5-10. And it doesn't streak like Blackfire Crystal Seal does.

Holograms, Swirls, Super Hard CC, Wet Sanding, the works... (Your thoughts will be appreciated while I proceed)

I still see sanding marks in the 3rd to last picture. You may also want to consider using something more aggressive and inexpensive than FG400 to remove your sanding marks -- such as M100. I have found that FG400 is a bit low on cut compared to most compounds.

Newbie looking for first DA Polisher.

I cannot agree with Mike on this one. The Griots is a much, much better machine than the PC 7424XP. If my budget was only $150, there's no question that the Griots would be my machine of choice.

    IPA wipedown necessary?

There's no need to IPA a car before a sealant. After polishing, you'll want to re-wash the car to remove all of the dust, so that washing will remove most of the oils already.

    Wheels - STONG Cleaners

D140 is not strong compared to some of the other stuff out there, but for most people, it's definitely a step-up compared to what's normally available.

    Re-using CQUK sueded applicator cloths

I have both types -- they are not the same material. The large 16x16 ones are of a different material.

    Re-using CQUK sueded applicator cloths

Absolutely not. They harden. In fact, you should be using 3-5 suedes per car.

What rupes pad would you use? (one step)

Yellow, without a doubt. First pad that I always reach for.

2014 Toyota Highlander with hard paint...

I recently did a 2013 Prius with the Blizzard Pearl paint. I found the paint to be on the hard side. Even a medium polish/cutting foam was not touching the RIDS.

    Sealant and rain

Yes, I once applied Menzerna powerlock and had to drive the car in the rain about an hour afterwards. The following day, I noticed very weak beading and sheeting during the wash...

My review of the Rupes LHR12E Duetto

That's a Audi A3 2.0T vs Ford Mustang GT comparison. Two entirely different machines that both serve a very useful purpose. I have a Duetto right now, and it's a great machine for finishing and/or light to medium correction. I used to own a Flex 3401, and it is a great machine for heavier...

    Menzerna SF-4000

You can definitely achieve the same results using Meguiars products, especially with M205. But it takes a higher skill level to achieve the same results...but it can certainly be done.

    IPA wipedown or not?

Agreed, no need for wipedown unless you are coating.

    Optimum Hyper Polish

I have two bottles on the way. I'll keep everyone posted. I guess the biggest selling point of this stuff, is the ability to go directly to Opti-Coat 2.0 without the need for an IPA wipedown.

    Car Pro Reflect - Awesome!

Reflect finishes a bit better than HD Polish, but it is a bit more aggressive and requires more technique. Hd works a lot faster than 4500 and has fewer oils to clean up. The biggest problem with HD Polish is that it tends to dust very badly under certain conditions.

    Optimum Hyper Polish

As with most products, the experience varies. But I've had trouble removing it from many cars.
