    DA Polisher/Product Help Request

Second this. Buff-n-shine pads are very good. Long lasting and haven't had Velcro issues. They are more or less chem guys pads that aren't private labeled, at least that's what I've seen. I use lots of CG hex-logics and then buff-n-shine microfiber compounding pads (LOOK IDENTICAL TO CG's ONES).

Anyone care to doublecheck a newb list?

Highly recommend these for tight spots on wheels / lug nuts. AES Industries 10-1/2" Automotive Cleaning Brush w/ Dense Solvent Resistant Hog Hair Bristles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013HJDOI/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_2I8qvb0ZGKHKX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013HJDOI/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_2I8qvb0ZGKHKX As...

    Silk Shine

Awesome. Months of durability. No oily residue. And had to mount an electronic remote using 3m tape months after an application. Needed IPA to get it to stick. I can't say enough great things about it. Plus it's not a pain to get off a surface (or window) if you mess up. And it smells...

Anyone care to doublecheck a newb list?

Clay towel or pad (like nano scrub/skin) works wonders and saves mad time. Two buckets w grit guards is a must. I love CG hex-logic pads. Hold up well and had good results. Buff-n-shine pretty much better makes them (w/o CG logo). Also love buff-n-shine black microfiber heavy compounding...

    Evaluate my product selection

Dunrite sorry for the late reply. Yes D151 is a great product, very versatile and fast. IG is great, nice choice. Yes for sure. It allows you to offer every customer something "THEY LIKE" and you can recommend worry free. And who doesn't love options... Plus any of the products I mentioned...

    New from Florida

Welcome. WGDGPS 3.0 (wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0) is my go-to. As mentioned it looks great, easy to use, but be patient on the cure time (don't let it get wet).

    Evaluate my product selection

Meg's paint recondition cream is a fantastic AIO (I think it's D151). If you want to mix it up. Offer a more durable "sealant" for those looking for one. Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 (WGDGPS). It's easy on and easy off, hands down one of the best sealants I have ever used. Buy...

WGDGPS and Fuzion.... or Fuzion alone?

Fuzion adds that depth and wetness (the high jetting factor) over WGDGPS. I have found it does attract dust a little more than the sealant alone. It's well worth it though. Just remember to wait 12 hours or more between applying the two. Just as you would wait 12 hours before getting the...

Looking for leather cleaner and conditioner

Well if sharpie is easy cleaned with a strong cleaner or basic IPA that sounds like a miracle to me! May have to try it out. Does it add gloss to the leather at all? Have you had better experiences with a slicker leather versus a more supple leather. The porsche in the family is definitely...

Looking for leather cleaner and conditioner

How has your experience been w the CQuartz? Any other thoughts than being easy to apply? Durability, beading, stain resistance? Something that's set and forget (for a year or more) other than a quick wipedown every month with a mild cleaner would be the golden ticket. There hasn't been...

    Battery-Operated DA Polisher Available?

There you go. Smaller pads are still a must for complex bumpers, pillars, etc. I haven't tried that clay towel. Right now I'm using the chemical guys V2 clay block but I really want to splurge for the nanoskin pads, I know they are highly regarded, and can be used by hand with the plate or on...

    Battery-Operated DA Polisher Available?

4 hours isn't bad for a full compound. I usually do 2-step correction w/ wash, clay, and LSP in 7 hours or so. 1st cut is only 80% or so, then just jeweling the finish with a very soft pad and finishing polish. I also tend to use 6.5 inch pads, and prefer them over 5.5 inch pads...

    Battery-Operated DA Polisher Available?

I have been doing it for a while, and once I find my pad / product combo it's no rest 'till the last panel. With a steady hand, focus, and a decent speed on the 3401 one pass will take 3 hours max on a large sedan / wagon. Theoretically yes, but nothing is 100% efficient, so you will have...

Looking for leather cleaner and conditioner

I swear by chemical guys leather cleaner. It's clear and is easily diluted. Takes lipstick, coffee, baked in pen ink, and more out. Their leather conditioner is quite good as well. But as many have stated a leather "protector / coating" would serve you better in terms of water and stain...
