    The truth about pads.

For me as a hobbyist/enthusiast, I started with 3 each and then ordered 2 white and orange, and I'm glad I did, made working on a Honda Pilot a breeze. Cleaning on the fly was time consuming for me due to not having a pad washer, and just rinsing the pad til it was clean of product and cleaning...

Detailing Interiors...Love It Or Hate It ?

Only do my own and my family member's cars so I typically love it, it's usually quite the turn around and the biggest drawbacks are stubborn stains I can't get out, scuffs of the same nature, and nooks and crannies I can't reach without an absurd amount of extra effort.

    Your wash sponge/mitt/pad

The MF mitts that AG sells have always worked for me, hold a well enough amount of wash solution, gentle enough on the paint, last a great number of washes and are perfect for relegating to wheel duty when they're tired.

    Wolfgang Paint Sealants

Wolfgang DGPS looks a bit better than BFWD, if you like the warmth of a carnauba, BFWD looks more candied and glossy, but BFWD feels notably slicker IMO. Both look great, have lasted me 5 months at the shortest (daily driver, parked outside, brutal pollen spring/summer season) and 7 months with...

    Mr. Pink conspiracy theory

Some people find that magical all in one soap, some people have established their methods and routine to work with one particular soap for 2BM for how it may perform in that respect (lubricity, cleaning ability, suds and their duration, dilution value, ease of rinsing) and some seek a foam...

    The Slickest Sealant

Haven't used Powerlock, but I've heard great things. Between WGDGPS and BFWD though, Blackfire gets my vote for slickness. WGDGPS for looks.

Nice job, I noticed you're using the new Nanoskin products, but mentioned you're relatively new at this. Have you any experience with other products? If so, how would you compare the Nanoskin line to others? If you started straight with the Nanoskin products, what are your thoughts?

Nanoskin Microbuff DA Paint Correction System

I'm more interested in the pad composition and performance than the products, personally. 3 steps for a compound/polishing? Speed Cut, Nano Cut, then Formula 67? Why? There's already products such as M101, WG Uber, and FG400 in the market leaving some vehicles nearly LSP ready? As stand alone...

ONR or UWW as waterless wash?

I've always preferred UWW+ for waterless washing, has been much easier to dry and left significantly less residue/streaking. Due to the price though, I like ONR for rinseless washes. I'v never had a problem drying it at those dilutions and never had a complaint about how the product performs...

Why is it so hard to dry my car?

I've always found ONR difficult to dry no matter the condition of the weather, LSP, nor dilution of the rinseless solution. I picked up a bottle of UWW+ and while it's more expensive for rinseless washes, and performs no better or less than ONR, I just found it easier to dry in general and...

Nifty little LED lighting DIY I stumbled upon

Light bar DIY - Imgur Intended use for photography, but I couldn't help but think how great that would be in my poorly lit garage. The interesting thing is how compact it is, and how well distributed the light is across the surface. Pretty neat solution for people with low light work...

When to wash during a full correction

Initial wash, especially before the clay hits the paint. If you're using Iron X during decon, definitely want to wash after using that. Don't want to leave any remnants dripping to areas and sitting around. Some people like to wash after compounding, a lot of people do this to get the dust...
