I get the appeal of wheel woolies, I'm looking to pick some up myself, but I would not trade my EZ mini for one.

    How ofter to "swirl remove"

The wax helped with 'that wet look' without a doubt, but doesn't Mike Phillips have a saying that goes "The prep makes the pop"? Waxes are typically organic, that is, natural, composed of carnauba wax, sometimes beeswax, candelilla wax, so on and so forth. Waxes are known for producing a deep...

Recommend products for swirl removal on 2008 Nighthawk Black Pearl Honda Civic using DA buffer?

Honda's generally have softer clear coats, so PF2500 might be perfect, but could be overkill. I've seen a user achieve dramatic correction results on his red Accord with just M205 so there's always that to consider. You'll also want to be wary of micro marring from overly aggressive products...

2009 Cadillac CTS-V first time detailer

You would first need to upload the images to a site (I'd suggest imgur.com for ease of use), then use the direct link (imgur.com/1239129.jpg for example) and enclose that link with image tags [ img ] link here [ / img]. Except you wouldn't have any spaces at all, it would look like...

If You Had $1,500 To Spend, What Essentials Would You Buy?

I've been detailing as a hobby for 12-13 months now, taking care of 3 cars and the occasional friends/family members. I've already purchased 4 bottles of invisible glass, that's $24 for 88 oz of glass cleaner. Sure, it was only $6 a pop at the time and it lasted me long enough to not have to...

If You Had $1,500 To Spend, What Essentials Would You Buy?

Regarding #8... With Invisible Glass, you can get 10 gallons of RTU product for $300 With D120, you get 10 gallons of RTU glass cleaner for $20 I don't see why you have to be a pro to spend your money wisely.

Son1c 's Home Brew Carnauba Wax - ProtoWax -> Picture Heavy

+1 I'd rather wait another 6 months and see Son1c deliver something mind blowing than have him rush a batch out a week after he started. Keep it up Son1c, it looks like you're chugging right along

Finding a location to do work when weather is bad

I don't think such a place exists (besides your local car wash) unless you know someone with some type of property that has those amenities that would be willing to let you use it... I also don't think you could really wash a car in the rain under one, but there is always an EZ-UP to consider...

    NANOSKIN Autoscrub

Ehhhh, maybe on low temperatures but I'm initially wary of putting mine in the washing machine. Perhaps someone from Nanoskin can chime in on this, as I haven't seen anything anywhere about the mitts being put in the washing machine. Also, mine doesn't get used daily (more like once every few...

    NANOSKIN Autoscrub

No matter what I've tried the Autoscrub mitt always seems to adhere to plastic bags, so I just hang it on a rack to dry and when it finally has dried completely, I keep it sitting face up in air tight, enclosed container. Hogs up more space than a clay bar would, but also works however much faster.

    Arctic 530...same as Gold Plush?

Please help me fill in the gaps

I'd wager that M205 has more corrective ability than Ultimate Polish, but I haven't used UP so I'll leave that to someone who has used both. As for the ONR, I just couldn't find a dilution to where I wasn't battling streaking. I picked up a bottle of UWW+ concentrate and now I pretty much use...

    1. Meguiar’s Super Degreaser Concentrate, 1 Gallon, cleans and degreases the engine compartment of your car. A concentrated car engine cleaner and 2. I think you're a bit confused with the terminology. To put it simply, swirls are caused by improper wash technique. They are tiny scratches (in...

    Sealant after glaze or not???

Todd Helme has stated that a layer of Blackfire's Gloss Enhancing Polish before your application of Blackfire Wet Diamond would enhance the durability of the Wet Diamond. As Funx stated, this is likely due to synergistic polymers. If I recall correctly, BF GEP doesn't have any abrasives, that...

Tools / Product Cost Almost = Cost of Job

I understand the Flex is probably the superior machine, but you can get a DWP849X for $100 less and use that in the meantime, and wait for more rotary-required jobs to come in to invest in the better machine down the road. Granted, a second job of that nature would cover the costs regardless...
