    Houston Tx & pi&&ed !

I've seen more great sales from Autogeek in the 12 months I've been on this forum than I've seen from most retailers in years. I've also participated in sales that were one-upped the day after. It's a love-hate relationship but it's always a win/win scenario. Oh and let us not forget new BOGO...

What if I did compound and no clay?

...The car is 15 years old, even if it was clayed 6 months ago, I would still clay it before putting a machine to it. I think most people here will agree that you should definitely clay the car before you begin buffing the paint. I'd highly suggest it given the age, the fact that it's a DD and...

Post a picture of your First car

Not my pictures but... My real first car, a hand-me-down at 16, roof's paint was non-existent, neither was the A/C. I was lifeguarding that summer too, oh the joy. Then I got one of these from a neighbor for a steal about 6 months later lasted me 4.5 years until I got t-boned. Now I drive...

Post a picture of your First car

Looks like a Lexus IS to me, have to say I've never seen one with a badge-less grill, I like it though, looks a lot more aggressive. :xyxthumbs:

What is this? Smear after washing and drying

Both pictures look like a hologram caused by machine polishing to me. As for only seeing them once you wash the car, well that would make sense to me as you're removing a built up layer of dirt & grime, revealing the true nature of the defects. I've never had any smearing issues with Meg's Gold...

    No Rinse Waterless Wash Advice

UWW+ is hard to beat IMO as a waterless wash, much better than ONR. ONR however, is damn near impossible to beat as a rinseless wash, and I've yet to try ONRWW.

Am I the only one that's...

The tech is interesting without a doubt, but why does the author of the article repeatedly associate headlight power usage with fuel economy?

Am I the only one that's...

Audi's head of design referred to it as "jewelry" for the car in an article I read not too long ago. Audi's and BMW's looks great, even the ones on the '10+ Accords look good, most of them however, especially the cheap dingy aftermarket ones you see on Scion TC's and F150's, look like utter...

Acuras paint is obnoxious to work with

105 on a yellow pad (Lake Country?) seems like overkill for Acura paint to me. You could try WGTSR on a White and or WGFG on a black even. How severe are the remaining swirls & marring? It could have been instilled while buffing off your leftover polish. Sorry, no definitive answer, just...

Waterproof Hat with Carpro Fabric and Leather Coating :)

I wouldn't be surprised in the least, do you know if Cee-Dog (Corey?) has done any extensive reviews on it like he has other CarPro products? I'm curious to see how it holds up to daily wear & tear, especially compared to the 303.

    No lying. Let's be honest.

...You did, remember? How often? I don't know, probably as often as there are hack detailers to legitimate ones and then some. I'm 5'11", first correction I ever did, I did the roof of an '06 Honda Pilot (with the ridges) using one of these: Wrap any area of the ladder that could touch the...
