    griots garage warranty is awesome

I've heard nothing but good things about GG and their warranty for their machines, not the first instance I've heard of them replacing an older model with a newer one. Just makes me feel all nice and warm inside :awesome:

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax

Was really torn between getting a bottle of both ONR and ONRWW or getting a bottle of UWW+ on my last order. Probably going to be a while before I get to try it out, unless the UWW+ disappoints (hah!).

Prices And Recommendations For Full In And Out Detail Job

I'd rather run the risk of beginner error a hundred times over than invest into somebody's work who didn't spell check their work form of their business. If they miss a detail like that how do you think the work on your car is going to turn out? That may sound like an unfair comparison...

Whats the best way to measure out bulk cleaners?

Basically, add the two numbers up into one, and that's how many parts you want to separate your container into. If you were to dilute something 10:1, that'd be 11 parts total, and in a 22 oz bottle, that would be 2 ozs to a part. Thus you would add 2 oz of chemical and 20 oz of water. 4:1 is 5...

    Best spray wax?

Haven't used it but for depth and durability word is that Optimum Car Wax is hard to beat and at that price who's to argue? Almost got some on my last order actually. Meg's UQW I like for it being OTC and available just about anywhere. D156 would be appealing if I wanted a gallon of it as I'm...

Yes, another giveaway. Next up, Mothers.

Have to admit I haven't used many Mother's products but this was easily the one that stood out the most. First foaming wheel cleaner I used and now my eyes have been opened :xyxthumbs: If Back to the Future counts as a car movie then that's my favorite, otherwise I'd have to say Gone in 60 Seconds.

    Rookie Question

I'd say it's for more likely to induce marring, many claim using blowers to dry cars period will lightly "sand blast" the car with particles and micro debris, I won't say otherwise but I do question the severity and how noticeable the scratches are. I'm going to go ahead and lean towards no, I...

    Wow 845

845 is considered by many to be a hybrid, and treated as a sealant, most people i've seen normally top 845 with a 'nuba wax of their choosing.

garage features for new home construction

Most people nailed anything I could think of and beyond, one thought regarding the drainage system though. Would it be possible to pour the garage floor at an incredibly acute angle? That way you could install a drain along the entrance of the garage and it could be easily irrigated to wherever...

Honestly, is foaming even effective? Isn't a simple wash mitt much better?

I don't think foaming's designed to replace the traditional wash, it just seems like an extra step in the process that to me, is theoretically sound in serving the purpose advertised. It's a pre-soak, every says to pre-soak your car to get loose dust/dirt off and everyone supports keeping the...

    Need some persuasion help.

I think you're much better off doing a demo on a junk panel as opposed to showing pictures of other detailer's work. This gives you an opportunity to let the customer see how you work, see what goes into the work, and gives the client a real life representation of what can be achieved.
