Those who have *used* LC Hydro-Tech pads....

Spread with 3, worked in with 5, three passes with moderate pressure, finished with weight of flex only for a pass or two. Went very quick. I can't tell you how amazed I was. Honestly being a rookie, I've gotten frustrated lately not getting results like most, working on my technique, etc...

Those who have *used* LC Hydro-Tech pads....

I used the tangerine for the first time today (until my worst nightmare came true and broke the bolt off on my flex). I was totally amazed. I was struggling finding the right combo of product and pad for my Mits Eclipse Spyder. The tangerine with Wolfgang TSR left the paint amazing in my test...

HELP!! I think I killed my flex?

Thanks. Just for clarification this is the one I was using which says it works with DA's. I have learned a lesson though and will try to get a simple drill attachment for pad washing or a really cheap rotary. I've got a PC so I can still work on my car, just way depressed because I love the...

HELP!! I think I killed my flex?

Thanks. Now I just need to figure out where to get parts from or who can I ship to fix. I'm hoping a call to AG headquarters on Monday will guide me. Thanks for the part numbers.

HELP!! I think I killed my flex?

The question is how do I get replacement parts or do I have to ship to Germany? On a positive note, I tried Wolfgang TSR for the first time on a test are that I've been frustrated with and I'm amazed. I'm not sure I even have to follow it with another polish.

HELP!! I think I killed my flex?

OK, here's my bad day story. My wife got me a pad washer from AG for our anniversary tomorrow. Thought I would give it a whirl. I followed the instructions. When drying the pad I lifted the pressure. I must have gone to high or something. It got caught and ripped the back plate and holder...

    DODO Supernatural

I've been impressed so far, but I haven't really exposed the car to any elements for a real test. I have the machine stick which was neat and fast way to get a quick thin layer onto the car (red pad).

    Pinnacle Twins not enough?

Looks like I'm going to give the WG twins a roll, and pick up some Megs UC (OTC) if I'm still failing. I will post some pres and posts to see if you all approve. As always, thanks for the great feedback.

    Pinnacle Twins not enough?

New pads on a Flex 3401 at 5. Section passes I would guess 5-6 (started to dust on me). Did try it more than once (3). Maybe a small improvement each time. Thanks for any help :)

    Pinnacle Twins not enough?

Thanks, I understand now. I'm still a bit confused though on the WG's being better than the pinnacle twins I have now. Per the AG chart, the Pinnacle ASR is stronger than the WG SR. I'm also going to try to snap some pics, maybe my results with the Pinnacle twins are acceptable?

    Pinnacle Twins not enough?

Thanks for the input. Curious on your comment that WG is "easier" to work with. Other posts seem to refer to the Meg's as easy to work with (faster work time, etc). What makes the WG's easier?

    Pinnacle Twins not enough?

I have some light swirling on my 09 eclipse spyder (rave red pearl). The WG twins were recommended to me, but I have the Pinnacle twins and decided to give them a try on my trunk. I've watched my technique, worked a small area, and did everything that's been recommended so far. Orange pad for...

    Your favorite exhaust pipe routine....

Being new to detailing, I'm trying to learn how to keep my car perfect one area at a time. Looking over her, I was curious what I should do for her pipes. They aren't in awful shape, and I've read a couple of routines out there under show n' shine, but curious for more input. What is your...
