Thanks for the input. I was just wondering if there was really any benefit to move from the "Ultimate" products to the "Mirror" products. I wouldn't have any desire to do that unless I thought I could get better results and it doesn't sound like that would necessarily be the case.

I have been using Megs UC and UP and getting what I feel are very good results. If I move to M105/205, what should I expect to see in terms of a difference? I realize there is probably more cut with 105/205 and maybe less time running the machine but, beyond that, should I see a better finish?

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I use either Megs ‘fine cut’ or ‘medium cut’ after sanding and then go right to the UC and the UP (if needed). Finishes out incredibly well. I know others would opine that better results can be achieved with other products (and that may be true) but so...

Thank you. I went the inexpensive route and bought the Harbor Freight DA....but the thing seems to be doing the job rather well. I haven't had to crank past 4 or 5 on the speed dial and it's rotating very well with a good amount of pressure. I already have my sights set on a Flex 3401, though :)
