    Using peoples water?

I use power and water from the customer. I tell them when I give them a quote that only thing I need is access to a water bib and electrical outlet and they have never had an issue. Only thing i wish i could have access too sometimes is a restroom lol.

New look for the AG store.

Not a fan so far, though I know the bugs will get fixed. A few I have found. Desktop version: When I add something to my cart and go back it removes it from the cart but its still there when I look at something else. So page back removes it from view only. I can not add items to my wishlist...

    3M Finesse-It K211 Any one use it?

So I tried it today. Honestly I thought it worked great. I tried it with a LC CCS green pad and it brought good results with just claying before. I wet sanded a junk hood with 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, and 5000 trizact. The 5000 foam trisect i attached to my 3" backing plate and it stuck rather...

    Help with these spots!

Have you tried a water spot remover? It may have etched into the clear. I hate to suggest it but wet sanding may be the only option if it is etched that deep.

Dear Fellow Mobile Detailers—Are you offering coatings as a service?

I am not currently although I have it on my bid sheet as an option. People around here cringe at the price. I am interested in what is making people bite on it though because no matter how hard I pitch it they look at me like I'm trying to sell them something they don't need.

    3M Finesse-It K211 Any one use it?

So 3M Finesse-It k211 came up on Amazon deal of the day. 1 Gallon for $53 shipped and retails for around $100. I couldn't pass it up but I couldn't find any reviews or anything on here of anyone using it. Anyone out there tried it and had any success with it? What pads and machine you using if...

    C5 Z06 detail

Also if you want to try to go less aggressive you could try Griots All in One sealant. I use it with LC Hydro tech tangerine pads and for a one step it does a good job.The photo is a 50/50 shot on a VW Jetta.

    SPTA Pads

I agree 100% with the not skimping. I was more curious if they just manufactured them for Lake Country or Chemical guys. Right now I use the LC hydrotech pads and I really like them. Ordered some hex logics to try and I am ordering some smart pads too. I like to try different things to see what...

    SPTA Pads

So while browsing Amazon I stumbled upon SPTA pads that look similar to Chemical Guys Hex logic pads. I tried to look up SPTA with no luck. However I did find a few online retailers selling the pads and some even look like Lake Country CCS smart pads. Is this the company that manufactures the...

Removing Wolfgang Paint sealant from pad

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I will try to soak it in a pad cleaning solution and if that doesn't work I will try a degreaser. I do like the idea of just using it for the sealant, However I am fairly new to machine polishing and I have been trying a lot of different products so I want...

Removing Wolfgang Paint sealant from pad

I have tried and tried and well tried to the point where I feel like I should just throw away a crimson lake country pad. The wolfgang sealant is almost oil like and I can not for the life of me get it out of the pad. I have soaked it in McKee's 37 pad cleaner. Tried cold water, hot water and it...
