I plan on getting the PC 7424 xp and ccs pad kit. It allows you to chose 5 6.5 inch pads. I plan on getting 2 orange pads, a white pad and 2 gray pads. It also comes with 2 free 5.5 inch red pads. Do the above pad choices look like the right way to go? I plan on just using the pc for paint...
Im no professional but from what i have read this is what i could put together. A glaze is usually a pure polish with no cleaning ability. They usually last a few days and are popular for show cars as they help to hide blemishes and has a darkening affect on black paint. Glazes are best used on...
I went, it's every Thursday. Lots of bmws, audis, mustangs and a Maserati, a gtr and a Lamborghini. Mostly new cars and motorcycles with mods. Big turnout with a lot of nice cars. Happy I went.
My friends were telling about a car show in edgewater in a shopping center. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Is there usually a big turnout or is it something real small and not worth the time (I live about 45 minutes away)?
Show car glaze is a real pain to use, smears takes a long time to remove. Hides imperfections and darkens paint but the effects don't last very long, maybe up to a week. I have a bottle and I rarely use it because I feel it's not worth the time and effort.
I would contact griots garage if I was in your situation. Usually, companies just want a proof of purchase(receipt) and they will ask you to send back the defective product with a number that you write either on or in the box so the know who it is from and the problem with it. I have never dealt...
I use zymol auto wash that I buy at walmart for about 8$, works well for me and it smells amazing. Good suds and surface lube. It's cheap, readily available and you can get a lot of uses out of it.
I'm interested in trying shine and seal, it looks like a good aio that has lasting protection. I have never used wolf's chemicals but have read about them on various forums and would love to try one of their products. If I was to win, I would write a detailed review with pictures.

I don't like being out in the cold, I've always hated winter and I know I wouldn't want to be out in the cold too often. I have some rinseless wash so that would help reducing the time out in the cold. I know that I wouldn't clean the car as well as usual so I just want to protect the car as...
Thanks for the reply, that's sounds like a good plan. With the ipa step, can I just use isopropyl alcohol from the supermarket and do I need to dilute it.
I know it's early but I want to get everything together that I need to protect my car from the winters in north jersey. They use rock salt and some kind of sand mixture and I want to prevent these from eating away at my paint. My plan is as follows...
Wash
Clay bar
