I polished my wife's car about 2 months ago and put a coat of sealant and collinite on it. Now she wants opticoat on it after seeing my car. Would I need to polish it again or could I just remove the sealant and wax and just wash it really well?

From what I have read online, if it felt grabby there wasn't enough Opti coat on the pad. People on different forums have used between 6-10 cc's of opti coat. Wait 2 hours until it totally dries and spray it with water. The spots that aren't beading just hit with a little more opti coat.

I purchased opti coat 2.0 along with eraser, groits paint prep, and ironx. Is that all I should need? What steps should I take with these products? I also have woflegang swirl remover and finishing glaze.

Pull out carpets. Vacuum carpets and interior. Extractor if necessary. Clean dash and other parts. Windows. Apply coating of 303 or perl.

Yeah I have detailed my engine bay several times and don't cover up a single thing. When I detail friends or family's cars I usually cover up some parts like I mentioned above. That is usually if it is an older car.

Also if you have an intake of some sort that is exposed, cover it. I use carpro for my engine or 303.

The directions are to clean the window extremely well and apply aquapel. When applying don't let it dry on the windshield. Wipe off once the whole windshield gets the treatment.
