WIN a Rupes Big Foot Polisher Kit! - 2012 Year In Review Contest!

Adding the GTechniq line was pretty huge and definitely made me happy to see! I hope AG is able to secure the Wolf's line. I can vouch for both Body Wrap and Hard Body as great products. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/60560-review-p21s-polishing-soap.html

    Mobile POS (point of sale)

The easiest and most recognized is probably Square. I have it and it is super easy to use. They provide the card reader which plugs into the headphone jack. You then open the app, put in the amount to charge, swipe the card and have the customer sign. Gives you the option to email a receipt...

All my hardwork is gone..... I could cry right now..

Someone at my former employer clipped my car while pulling into a parking spot. End result was $1200 in damage requiring a respray of the rear driver side door and quarter panel. Paint matches well but I can tell its been resprayed. Also, the idiot didn't leave a note or anything. People suck...

    Short take: Snobrum

Not for me. There is just no way you can convince me to drag anything across my paint regardless of how much it is "...built to be non-abrasive".

    PERL for Tires

I have both. Opti-bond is used at 1:1 while I use PERL straight. Usually, I do 2 coats 15+ minutes apart. I find that PERL produces a new tire type of sheen whereas Opti-bond is glossier.

Can someone tell me what these spots are?

My Acura has the same on the rear driver's side door. My door was resprayed. Like others have said, yours appears to be from a respray. Has she owned the car since new? If she bought it used it is 100% possible the bodywork was never reported so it would never show on a CarFax or other VIN...

    Flyer/Craigslist Ad ideas

I agree. There is nothing wrong in trying, but, be aware you may not pull any business from Craigslist. Especially, when there are so many "pro" detailers advertising on Clist for full details for $50. Also, it's my opinion that people looking for detailing on Clist are the same type who buy the...

First time using GG 3" machine on paint...

Correct. CS is a sealant so you want that first to protect. 845 is your topper as it technically is a wax that performs like a sealant.

First time using GG 3" machine on paint...

First, nice job as that is a heck of an improvement! Judging by the haze in your after picture, I would recommend following up with a polish such as Meguiar's Ultimate Polish or even M205. Either of these can be found at your local AutoZone. After you polish, rewash or do an IPA wipedown. Then...

My Web Site - Review again please.

Absolutely, you're welcome! In regards to the logos, looking at the big picture, I don't think you would run into any issues displaying them. Corporate lawyers have bigger fish to fry when it comes to copyright/trademark infringement than a small time detailer. Just wanted to throw it out there...

My Web Site - Review again please.

Nice improvements. I'll echo a suggestion from your last thread and that is to ditch the logos of the products you use. Unless you have permission, that could be a copyright/trademark issue. Instead, just verbalize the products used and then briefly describe the benefits. IE. "Here at...

2 coats is fine. Remember, you're not baking a 5-tiered cake here.

My Web Site - Please Review

I like the template/visual aspect of the site. However, the information as presented is very cluttered. Too much up/down scrolling. Also, each service page (washing, correction, etc.) requires a "click here" which launches another window or tab just to see the levels and pricing. I think you...
