I use one of the yellow, foam applicators to do this. Same one you would use to put on wax, sealant, etc.

    Audi question

It's possible the scratches are too deep and you *may* need to wet sand. Can you feel the scratches with your fingernails?

Looking for a quality spray sealant...

There is a pro detailer by the handel of Scottwax over at Autopia that uses Opti-seal in a lot of his details. I don't have any spray sealants so can't comment. I do have Aquawax and OCW, but, figured these to be waxes more than sealants.

Up Close & Personal: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax

^ A lot of people swear by the Lowe's Grout Sponge. I have always used a microfiber wash mitt that is covered in knobs. Autozone has it. Can't go wrong using plush microfibers, grout sponge or a chenille mit.

    Product Recomendation

If you want to stick to one product line, I would recommend Optimum as you can do the most with the least cost, in my opinion. The products are tried and true, as well as cost effective. Realistically, you need Opt. No Rinse Wash and Shine (rinseless washes, clay lube, quick detailer, glass)...

    sealants, waxes and cold temps

Looks like we both may be wasting our time, lol. Actually, us Ohioans have to take advantage of dry weather and temps above 40. We don't see too many days like tomorrow after December 1.

    LC MF pads.. What product?

I have used mine with 105/205 and UC.

Which product to by Meguiars, Menzerna or Duragloss?

Agreed. Meg's UC often doesn't get the credit it deserves. It provides a little less cut, but, I can finish down better with it than 105.

2010 Taurus SHO - Interior surfaces

I believe that material is Alcantra and this is also used in the 03/04 Cobras as well as Lightnings. Distilled water and Woolite does the trick.

Storage (apartment dwellers) how do you do it?

I have a garage at my apartment, but, being as this is Ohio and products easily freeze, I have a shelving rack in a spare room with my products. I carry my detailing bag with what I need to perform a rinseless wash and a couple of buckets of water and ONR out to my garage. Do my cleaning and...
