Well, a little update. Took advantage of the paint coating sale and the Labor Day sale and picked up a few things. -detailers coating kit (paint, wheel and glass) -detailers coating prep polish -250ml GTechniq Panel Wipe -6.5in LC white pad for the prep polish I'm pretty excited!

One more question, if I use the detailers paint coating, can I follow it up with a wax/sealant with anti static properties? I think part of the problem is stray cat furs making their way under the cover and sticking to the car thanks to static cling.

Yeah now that I think about it, I'm 99% sure I don't have a flannel liner in there. So that could be an issue. I did see someone on another forum suggest laying flannel throws on the hood, roof and decklid before the cover goes on, so I may try that if a new cover is a little to spendy for my...

True! My siamese/tabby mix loves to kill anything that makes it's way in. Lots of roaches and the occasional baby garden snake or mouse.

Nice! My dad has a 2012 Sterling Gray Metallic MCA! Fully loaded with every option except rear backup cam and navi system. Somewhere between 1 of 1 and 1 of 11 is as far as I can narrow it down to. Still pretty rare though :)
