I bought some opti-coat to do my matte black rotas. I wish I had done this when they were new. Can't seem to get the stains and dirt out of them now. They get very dirty easily.

You should include before/after shots of the paint. That's what I thought this thread was when I clicked it.

Those pictures look like you're not kneeding the clay enough. Mine has never gotten that dirty because I don't use the same material that long. It looks like you could be scratching the paint with that many contaminents in the surface of the clay.

I'm lost in this whole pad ordeal. Just bought a porter cable 7424xp with meguiers polishing kit. I know I need more pads but I'm unsure which pads I need. Also how does one tell if the paint is hard or soft?
