Technique for my first attempt at a coating.

Yea that's why I want to use it asap while it still looks good. I think those 3 should be enough for my wife's car, my truck and probably another. I need to get it done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Technique for my first attempt at a coating.

Sounds like I'll just keep a bucket of water with APC ready and toss the MF towels in when I use all sides once. I have enough towels to do that. I was just wondering if I'm going to need more but it seems like I should be ok then. I bought the tubes last year from a place locally when they...

    Cleaning honeycomb plastic grilles?

I use my boars hair detailing brushes, some general dilution APC and my steamer on high. Spray then scrub with the brush then steam. Then use a easy sealant like hydro2 if you don't got time to coat it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Glass Cleaning

Wash, clay, plastic razor blade with invisible glass as lube, quick polish by hand with Duragloss Nuglass then clean up with duragloss Rain repel. Best way I found for exterior. And of course use glass waffle weave MF towels. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    How can I fix this?

I used that combo for my wheels before and it works fine for me. Now I just use hydro2. Easier and 100 times faster than doing it by hand. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    How can I fix this?

Keep it clean. Seal or coat it. I remove my rims every 6 months and clay them. Then seal them with a quality sealant or coating of your choice. Buy a Daytona speed brush so you can get in the drums and behind any parts of the wheel so there is minimal dust that could eat through to the...

    How can I fix this?

In Hawaii this happens often. Like most said is probably the aluminum oxidizing. I'm waiting to see how the paint on the new fords with the aluminum body react when they start oxidizing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Clay/nanoskin then seal/wax or clay/nanoskin, Polish, seal/wax? (Nanoshock question)

RUPES Cyclo Detailing Class - Pictures of Cyclo in action!

Thanks for this mike. The cyclo was my first polisher and I loved using it every time. It's such a balanced machine you can use it with one hand. Seeing this makes me want to use it again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    very bad marring from nanoskin

I had very bad marring when using the mitt with car soap. Even with the foam gun. It's safer to do it with a lube. I was using m34 but switched to ONR diluted 2 oz to a gallon and have had very little marring. Im sure any clay lube would work fine but ONR is the most cost effective. Sent...

    very bad marring from nanoskin

I learned my lesson with this a little while ago the same way you did. Now anytime I clay I'll follow with menz 106, duragloss preclean #2 or like mike said a abrasive AIO(I use menz 3n1). I got rid of my clay then seal package and added the light polish step so I can sleep easy at night...
