    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

Haha... that is the one and only thing about this car I don't like. I wish I could have "accidently" hit it with the rotary and not got in trouble. LOL. Thanks for the kind words guys. It is greatly appreciate it.

That I will try. It has been a long project. So next time I see him I will make sure to have him call me when it's all buttoned up. I am excited to see it myself all completed.

    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

So I finally have a few minutes to post the after pics. Kind of pissed at myself for not taking before pics. It was extremely oxidized and beat up. Hopefully you guys enjoy and please leave any feedback. Even criticism, as I am pretty good at taking constructive criticism and running with...

    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

I forgot to get the year before I sent it off. But all of the factory stickers on the underside of the hood and radiator support say 3.0 V6. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get home tonight. Can't wait to get them up. This is the first job I have been excited for in quite a while.

    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

Haha.. for the first time you guys have me speechless. I will try to find out what engine is in it tomorrow. All I know is it is the sport line. And a beautiful machine it is. Leather and carpets are free of any major wear and tear. When the resto is completed, and he is done getting in and...

    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

Once again these pics were taken with my crappy HTC phone. I will be taking better pics tomorrow with an actual camera. LOL.

    Mercedes 190E Sport Line

So I finally got a chance to get my hands on my mechanics benz. He is in the process of restoring it, as it is QUITE rare. When he got it, the previous owner dumped it on the ground and put some cheap 18" black wheels on it. So he put the factory wheels on it with 1" lowering kit. Had all...

WRX Detail w/ Autogeek Forum to the Rescue

Awesome work... especially since you said it was only your second endeavor into polishing. One piece of advice if I may in regards to residue removal. Using nice fresh/clean towels is always the most important key. But you also might try using a quick detailer to add some lubricity to your...

This product is a game changer! - 22ple VX1 Pro Coating

I have never had any first hand experience with 22ple. But from what mr. Cooperider says the gloss is supposed to keep increasing for 4-5 days. Please keep us posted if this is true.

Did a little bumper repair in my new shop.

I agree with Bobby. Impressive is a drastic understatement. Being able to do body work as a detailer is a great skill to have. While doing a client's vehicle. If body repairs are needed, it could possibly turn into a quite lucrative upsell.

A turtle wax product I actually like.

I use it solely as a drying aid. And I would never have bought it normally. But I ran out of my meg's and it was on sale.

A turtle wax product I actually like.

If you are looking for a "filler" type of product. I have had great luck with ez creme glaze with acrilyc shine II. Great product. Its a glaze so it has a slight filler property but it also adds a punch to the depth and gloss before wax or sealant.

A turtle wax product I actually like.

I did a black jag 2 weeks ago in which the owner asked me to use the carnauba blend from the black box as my finisher. He said it covered up his deeper imperfections. After the correction stage I went to open it and use it, only to find my fingers stained black before I even touched the car...

A turtle wax product I actually like.

No problem. I just give about 4 initial mists on my WW drying towel, then just a spritz or 2 each panel after that... or as needed. Works great.

A turtle wax product I actually like.

So I have always been completely against TW products. Have tried them several times with worthless results. But I must say, after running out of my Meg's UQD, I went and bought TW Ice QD because it was on sale at the time. Now I am not saying this will permanently replace my Meg's, but I am...

Product Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight/V07 Combo

Black is what I use. Just remember to use light pressure, speed 3.5-4, and just a touch slower hand speed than the typical wax process. I usually will do the blacklight topped with the paste wax of your choice. Should produce stellar results on infiniti black.

Product Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight/V07 Combo

The minor abrasives should do the trick. I have used this combo on many bmw's of various colors. GREAT results. If you want a little more, I suggest topping it with a good carnauba paste. This is my favorite quick go to setup.

Haha ya. A sunshot would definitely be the obvious testament to the results. Although I forgot that also. Next time I will be sure to get direct sun shots. Thanks for the kind words guys.

I also like my rotary. Now all I need is some menzerna sf4500. I think if I did meg's uc on an orange lc pad, m205 on a white lc pad, and then sf4500 on a black pad via rotary there may have been just a little more depth.

    Outstanding results with unconventional methods.

What we have here is a recent detail I had the privilege of doing on a Jet Black BMW 650i. The paint is indeed quite soft. One of the hardest trial and error sessions I have ever had. And what made it worse was it was just recently purchased by it's new owner, and not previously taken care of...
