I read somewhere that you can use the soft wax overtop of the hard wax for an extra glossy depth. I figured maybe because it's just based with light or clear beeswax it wouldnt matter using it on the darker car, then top with the Purple haze to enhance and take advantage of the darker color...

It is possible, but simple cleaning with QD and a cloth was having no effect when I first inspected the scratch.

Once you add up the costs of doing a thorough job at the "do it yourself" car wash, you can see that $15-$20 while you relax and let the pro's do it, seems like not a bad deal. We also give them a card that gets stamped. After five washes they get a free wax! (consumer grade)
