I've been using Meguiars Vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner with the D/A for such things and have had great success, use a terry cloth to wipe up after buffing. Another thing you might want to try is spray nine or RV awning cleaner, its fumy, but works good too. I have yet to see any...

Terrific replies guys, thanks very much. I will look into trying out some of these products. I also have to get some more wool pads. I havent had much luck with them as the backing felt keeps falling off so I have been using cutting pads.

Lucky you! The States got it so good when it comes to industry products! All the good stuff is down there! Alas I am too far from the border to do a midnight swim across the river to get my wax. :)

You can buy pad cleaners online, or maybe here, I haven't looked. They are around $150 but I havent actually tried one yet so I cannot give a review. I found that putting them in the wash deteriorates them pretty quickly, the backing degrades and starts to come off as well as splitting along...
