I'm seriously contemplating ordering a porter cable for the express purpose of using smaller pads and stickin with the larger 6.5" pads for my flex 3401. Can anyone post some pics of the porter cable with the smaller backing plate and pads?

Good to know. I tried soaking and working the foam pad in a mix of water and dawn but the sealant just laughs at it. I'll try squeezing it a bit more tonight.

I've been using a foam applicator to apply the paint sealant. I can't seem clean it well enough after I'm done for the day. What chemicals/technique/methods work to remove the sealant from the foam pads?

I used the prescribed 7:1 and just went crazy with the spray bottle. No scratches. I rinsed the nano skin mitt off constantly with water and then wetted back down again with the glide.

Used my nano skin mitt for the first time today on my buddy's car and my truck. Wow this thing is fast! No clay bars for me! This technology is where it's at. My buddy's vehicle hasn't been even washed in two years. The front needed a lot more time but it overall it went very fast.
