    Surcharge for Suv

If its that many hours then you're right. I spend about 2 hours and charge 70 for an interior detail. But SLC is a bad market while starting out. Most people do notice the difference between a hack and my work so that's nice. I get some nice tips too. If its taking 6-8 hours you should be...

Meguiar's Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier Review and Testing

I've been using it on my wheels that are painted and its great since it acts like spray wax, makes my wheel's paint pop and makes it easier to clean later on. I've reduced the usage of my wheel cleaner to once every 2 weeks. Saves a lot of product and doesn't corrode the surface. Some have...

Need ideas to get more interior jobs

Lol irony. Most of my business is working on interiors and it is by far the most painful thing about detailing. I love when an exterior job comes up. The interior work pays off if its a return customer since its easier to work on their car. Typically I get nice cars but now and again people...

    Surcharge for Suv

Location is an important factor. $300 in SLC and you're not going to get any business.

    Swirl Marks after washing

I'm in the same boat. I went by everyone's recommendations that an Acura's paint is soft so I used the least aggressive solution which made the paint look decent and with two coats of sealant I thought all would be well but it certain lighting, mild sunlight to be exact its crazy how many swirls...

NEW HTML5 Site UP! Super Happy! Check it out!

Just generally use all your HTML tags to describe what your pages contain. Your pictures should be relevant to what your showing so if someone looks for an 'acura rim brake dust' they'll find your website. Aside from that just make sure you have relevant content on your page. Google out...

    This sucks!!!!!

50 bucks a month for $500,000 in liability insurance. I don't make a lot a month but if you're working on someone elses car be sure you are covered. Do not cheap out especially when one detail can essentially cover the premium.

    Plasti-dip

Dipping is not really easy but just like detailing with some experience you can get there and make money doing it. On the other hand I hate the fact that every stock car in the market has blacked out rims or emblems and end up acting like they're driving works of art. Plastidip is great for a...

First time doing a beat car....turned out ok I guess...

Looks good. Wheels could use a little more TLC. Sonax wheel cleaner and the trim could use some restoration. 303 Aerospace for the trim should improve it. Paint looks really good for the car and the use its seen!

To much spray wax / Detailer ?

I'd say its too much if you can't wipe it away while its wet. Spray wax is lube and having it dry on the paint is doing no good.

Mike Phillips VIF or Vehicle Inspection Form

I'm going to be using this for the first time tomorrow. Thanks for all the work and help. I have read up on your material and it has really helped a lot. I love motorsports and my only contact with motorsports and cars at this time is through detailing given the high cost of entry into any...

    Newbie from SLC, Utah

The cars look awesome... Sadly I messed up the paint on my TL by trying to "touch up" the front bumper... The only blemish on otherwise flawless paint... I'm jealous!

    Tiny ripples in reflection.
