the flex is still my favorite by far. I still use a dewalt on gel coat boats to compound but always polish and finish with the flex. On cars I use the flex for everything.

Skip the 105/205 go with menzerna The blackfire/wolfgang and menzerna lines are far easier to use and get just as good of results in my experience. I have used all of them on at least several cars after doing research on proper techniques. I would go with a flex 3401 if budget allows. Still...

I have a flex 3401 and love the wolfgang uber compound and fg400. I did not like megs 105 at all. In fact I gave away almost a full quart after using the other two. I had done atleast a 20 cars with 105. I will never go back to 105. I do really like 205 though. I cant tell much difference...
