I vote for saying something to the person and suggesting that they foot the bill for PDR. I have a whole science on choosing where I park and so far - no dings. But there are times that you have to get the only space left and hope that the car gods are watching over you. Good Luck with whatever...

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at an obviously "just detailed" car and thought how much better it would look if they had finished the job and dressed the tires. Brownish tires on a great looking car are just wrong. Especially a black car. I prefer just a low sheen and a nice natural...

Did you change out/clean the cabin filter? My used car purchase smelled of cigarettes and all it took was blowing out the cabin filter. I thought that I'd have to replace it, but that did the trick.

Diffusers really cut the output a lot. If anything I'd try to reflect all of the lost light.

:iagree: I have 5 48" fluorescents in my garage and would like even more. They are efficient, don't cast many shadows, and they don't throw off any heat. I like to keep a super-bright halogen stand lamp around if I really need some extra light.
