    Is iron X really needed?

I recently freshened up my 2014 Avalon with a flex 3401 and menzerna fg400 and 3500 but no iron X. It came out great and I removed almost every paint defect besides deep scratches. Is that stinky stuff really needed? I'm just trying to decide because I'm doing my black Toyota sequoia next...

    Menzerna 2500 question

Im using a flex 3401 with the orange and white LC hybrid forced pads. If I used the 2500 can I go straight to the 3800? Or would I have better results if I went 2500-3500-3800?

CG microfiber wash dilution to clean pads?

I was previously convinced to just clean my used pads by just rinsing them out with warm water. It works good for my orange LC hybrid forced pads and menzerna fg400 BUT not as good with the white hybrid pads and menzerna 3500. Too oily I recently bought a gallon of 3d towel kleen forgetting I...

Do you prime each pad before use when correcting or polishing?

I used this method and it worked great. The picture the the multiple stamps is the finish after the menzerna fg400 and I was stamping the menzerna 3500 to polish with that. Super shiny :) Thank you guys.

    Video: CHEMICAL GUYS products review

I have the cutting and polishing v32, v34, v36 and v38 they offer but fortunately only in 16oz bottles. Bought them when I first got my pc7424xp. Now I moved to menzerna for cutting and polishing. Live and learn i guess.

Do you prime each pad before use when correcting or polishing?

When I first did my SUV with my pc7424xp I was following directions from chemical guys with 4-5 drops and a spray of pad conditioner usually just on a clean pad right before it got used Do any of you guys ever use pad conditioner or something similar? I think it's like claybar lube

Do you prime each pad before use when correcting or polishing?

I was watching a how to use your flex 3401 vid by Mike Philips and he said to prime each new pad by smearing product your using over the whole pad face and then the few drops and that's what your going to use. Is this done only with brand new pads for its first use or before you begin using...

It feels like it's never going to end.....

I just realized I made claybar lube.... that's good because that's all I use that spray for :) I knew I only mixed in a gallon for some reason

It feels like it's never going to end.....

Thank you for the great advice guys, I'll stop ordering stuff for now and use up what I currently have. I just got the hyper wash and optimum spray wax. The jugs are still sealed because it's been raining and it's supposed to continue the next 4 days off and on. For now I'll just take care of...

It feels like it's never going to end.....

I have only used it as a detail spray @ 1 oz per gal of distilled water. I was reading about using that stuff when I dry my cars. Soaking the pfm towels with a rinseless wash and also spraying it on the panels as i dry right?

It feels like it's never going to end.....

Every time I buy something, I feel like I find something better after the purchase :( I bought some optimum spray wax and then I saw something that lasts longer. Don't remember the name but it was also a spray wax that gets talked about here. Next is my meguiars hyper wash I just bought.... I...
